DEVs should sticky this.
TO ALL ENCOUNTERING THIS ISSUE! after all that research i fixed the issue!
You need to get your WAN ip changed. I figured this out when i found a few people were suggesting to use a temporary VPN service, which all it does is change your ip (and limit or cause more problems) (so why not just change it yourself... duh lol)
To do this follow these steps:
1) unplug your router ethernet cord from your modem
2) power cycle your modem (30 seconds-ish)
3) reset/power cycle router
4) plug router ethernet cable back into modem - you should now have a new WAN ip and be able to load up Atlas and rejoin your game (you may die and be teleported in middle of ocean somewhere when you log back in) please let me know if it worked. Good luck!
(May need to clone your mac address if it doesnt work.)
(If you dont know how to fin your ip go to whatsmyip.org)

-----------my original post below----------
As I was playing late last night with friends, the game crashed on me with this error --> "Json Error, Invalid Json Token, Line: 1 Ch: 1". I now get this error when loading up Atlas and ARK... I cannot join any servers what-so-ever, the games are not able to be played. I googled the bejesus out of this error and no one has an actual fix for it. It seems to be a type of client/server authorization/communication process run with Java.
All of the fixes people claimed worked for them (most or all had nothing to do with the root reason (Java, client/server communication), have not worked for me, and I have tried all of them and then some. Changing launch options, resolutions, waiting forever after clicking ok. Rejoining server through Join instead of Rejoin (causes a time out and then the same error).
I could not even join my own private server at this point when I tried.
Anyways, this is an Atlas caused error... Devs or support can you please help with this? I am not mad, I would just like to get back in to play Atlas and ARK.
