  1. New CiV 6 Expansion was released yesterday so that will be what im doing for a couple of weeks, however i will login in evert 3rd day as i dont want to lose my claim for when they game is fixed
  2. should be enough to just declare war. the acceptance is hard to get i suppose ? i have a dispute with a former alliancemember, now a neutral faction, our buildings are entangled and i cant build neither can he

  4. yes, they are currently piling up as it seems it spawns one new every night but noone kills them. the other day i was chased by no less than 6 of them. i had no intention of fighting them as the cannonballs are more expensive than the loot so i just passed them by. stacking them up in one area..
  5. So ive been hunting these pests around the oceans now for a few days. Other than the crew they are useless to hunt. its way more expensive to repair the ship contra the costs of killing them. Will this get looked at? With the new update there are now tons of SOTD that noone wants to kill. so kiting 5+ for a while is not rare... Make it worth for me to take them out please! BR

  7. Hello. So ive noticed that its possible to mix PVE and PVP servers. I am all for the PVE experience (its very nice to build simular to creative) BUT i would like to test the PVP features in an area simular to arena fights. Due to this i suggest that one of the freeports (M9 suggested) would be transformed to Lawless PVP. It would be simple to avoid if you do not want PVP and for those who wants to test out PVP with the safety of PVE enviroment could go there and battle out (maybee sink a boat or two). i should add that i do not want to have several accounts. one is more than enough with animal, npc's and houses to keep in order.
  8. i cant belive that this isnt a thing already. I want PVE NPC ships to fight and capture. They must however sink simular to our ships (broken hull) not like the SOD's.
  9. my lawless server that im on M10 PVE EU has an average of 20 players. ive noticed a huge growback of preditors lately so there are less players for sure
  10. can standard buildings be created in the game such as a fort? (and have it to respawn if broken)
  11. A way to setup a kinda "high Sec" area would be to build simular to IRL Carribian. Nations would own certain islands keeping big forts on them (armed to the teeth) These would keep law and order (Passive-aggro NPC's patroling the streets) If a player attacks an other player the NPC nation would assign a bounty to this player (retaliation or defence would not count) and this could work with the bounty system to be implemented at V18. perhaps even a reputation system, both on company and on player level. then a big company would be able to raid the island but the main target would very likely not be hitting players, rather hitting the forts and looting the treasure. The tax system could be used simular to how its used now but would be cashed in to the fort (increasing raid risk) Claim system should be buy a "sqaure" to build your house on. Boats are bought from the docks with gold, small sail would be on it so you could still custumize it fully. perhaps placeable at chosen location simular to the docks. in the ocean of these areas NPC ships would keep of pirates. it creates a kind of high security area while keeping the PVP. These areas should be "safe"-er but still PVP, giving a place to build your house without a massive risk of having it destroyed (could not be stolen, rather raided)
  12. Actually the split between PVE and PVP is sad. what I'VE would have done is to make the lawless areas PVP and the rest areas PVE. Expand the amount of lawless to cover larger areas and give higher loot chances there (other mobs etc). that way you could venture out on an adventure and then return home to the safe areas.

  14. nope nothing (PVE EU) i do get items from chests etc tho but not the shipstructures. also, salvaging the chest does not give me the items inside the chests but the demolish price only.
  15. Actually the gun part is implemented with the special crafting recepies (upgrades) so you get both higher damage, faster wielding and faster reload etc.

Actually if you went to the northpole and then further over you would still end up at the northpole, just a diffrent location sa A1 -> M1. you would not go from the north and spawn at the south. if that was true you would not have a south but instead only one pole, not even sure how to model that but it would look very wierd. (and now i figured out the comparison with a torus...) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylindrical_equal-area_projection Just imagine going from sweden to australia would then be the the closest direction over northpole (magicly spawning at the south pole) and voila.
  17. +1 i have the same effect. no need to demolish anything as of now since its just a slugfest to get away from sharks.
  18. So i got my first crew yesterday, fun stuff. However since i lost all my gold in one of the recent updates i was not able to pay for him more than the 12 gold i got for sinking a SOTD (that was a joke!...) it says in the their inventory that they can be used for gathering, How? Also, i would like to be able to use the evil parts of the game (such as hanging and the cages) to make scenery but its not possible against NPC's, even after they by accident fell on a sword.. Stinging up my crew m8 is fully possible tho, i guess its a player status thing. i would love to keep the found crewmembers in the cages and sell them at diffrent islands. this would make the SOTD worth something.. Dont Judge me !
  19. i ran in to this issue also. managed to get back online yesterday after 3 days.. i ran the removal of battle eye suggestion, and then i just spammed "join atlas" on all diffrent freeports on the server i was on. managed to join a tundra server, woke up at my sloop (by old boat was lost due to this issue ) were unable to interact with anything. managed to kill myself by exhaustion, respawned and everything worked. Based on the timers on the island were im located we not alone to run in to the issue, alot of timers were running on 1-2 days and they have never ever gone below 3 days. Now i will make a new boat (some resources would be nice mr mod's!!) and i missed the 2x resource posibility due to this and lost my ship. hopefully it will work for me now but i will not dare to leave the server for a while. kill yourself from exhaustion, then respawn. this worked for me
  20. i did play Ark but on a private server so i did not experience these issues.
  21. Just make all land lawless... its so stupid that you can claim the lands. with the locking system etc implemented there is no need for having the flag claim system anymore.
  22. i lost my boat to this issue. it was sunk on monday just after the FOY update (transfering from one region in to a freeport) i did the issue report but no answer. When i was finally able to relog my boat had sunk togheter with my sleeping buddy and like 3 weeks of resource gathering (some 4 k gold) etc. I would really like a revert to FOY intro status but if thats not namageable then atleast release my char from limbo so that i can rebuild with the 2x resource gathering... This is also EU PVE server. (tranfer from N9 to M9 freeport) and then relocating at my sloop at L10.
  23. Hello. So i sailed in to M9 to pick up some crew, now i cant rejoin my boat and the server states 5/150 players. Anyone able to join this server?
