  1. I thought our group had it bad, that is funny!
  2. Luck, our group is 3 people and we have an ok and fun time when 2 or all 3 are on. PVE But when only 1 of us is on it's a grind and a deathful alpha animal nightmare. I could go through the list of bads from all of us 3 people but I wish to be constructive, not destructive. And if you have a job or life things to do it's very ploddingly and a very unlucky time. Please take ARK out of this extremely impressive and mind-blowing game, and make it the best pirate game ever. Couldn't there be some sort of scripting for the loner? The servers are often sparsely filled to ask and receive help. Thank you! 226 hours on Atlas
  3. First person weapon moves into and out repeatedly in camera view while running, no matter what weapon you have out.
  4. The Alpha Seagull can kill a 13000 pound (6 tons), elephant. Could you please fix this? Thank you
  5. Please, balance this issue whereas an Alpha Seagull can kill a 2 to 3 ton elephant. Giving my self a time out today! Crackheads gaming 223 hours played
  6. Indy, NEVER criticize a person by the name of "Gothic Dentist", you could be eating soft stuff. It sucks and happened to us in a few short hours. It used to happen on ships by the crocks but they have turned them down and ships are seemingly safe now. R.I.P. chickens, Agnes and Gertrude. On land we learned by our elephant Dumbo to elevate everything, Dumbo IV is doing great. Dogfood, our horse was a casualty within our discoveries too, sadly he became food for a wolf (we won't use Dogfood name anymore!). Replaced with female Checkyourpants. Agnes II and Gertrude II, are making great vitamin A. Well, maybe not Gerty so much, we found shes a he. They are working on it slowly though take extra measures and go up 2 to be safe, maybe build a foundation on ground level then go up. It is crazy!
  7. Our bank taxes and takes gold somehow. I think if there is gold on the ship? We have this problem and, also someone built a lighthouse within our flag radius, somehow overlapped our flags radius, and we don't give permissions to build and, our flag was placed first. We CAN "Demolish", but it never happens, the lighthouse sits in our way. I don't mind at all any of these as long as we could get better control or some better compensations. I hope someone sees this and works something out, you're right some sort of fix or compromise is in order.
  8. A steam-powered of one of these for PVE. Iron top and canon balls mostly repel off but do take some damage.

  11. That sounds good for PvP, but PvE, no one can break anything tied to another person so, they'd never have a chance to capture the flag.
  12. The Jib sail? late 1800s early 1900s a speed sail. I like this idea. Those traditional head figures that the trader sells, they could also sell a jib, (for a nominal fee *cough!).
  13. Crossbow? 2 shot with a random one at a time shot or 2 shot or misfires without. Na, too over the top.
  14. Oh, the mod thing! Hot air balloons would be more real of a thing, I'm not trying to push toward crazy, just things ARKish, Falloutish, Dayz Origins, and piretiey, (if that's a word?) more toward easy scripting for developers to make do with what is already in the game but, just a script rework. The crazy monkey idea would work due to the scripts that are already written in the game. It would be just another workaround and re-title make a new .txt doc. Basically another page to add slight wording differences. The short time I enjoyed ARK I noticed a draw toward people and their tamed animals so this would be another dynamic to add using ARK scripts but reworking to make a draw toward a simple animal. The engineering thing would be a COMPLETE new scripting effort and maybe some time, but, would add for those small companies of 2 or a little more. I thought it'd be constructive for such small groups because it's rough out there and huge, with loads of stuff to do. If someone had a big group they'd have most likely have a galleon ship and, loads of people in their group to maintain the thing easier than most, and maybe ranks etc. Not only that, it would be a REALLY COOL PIRETIEY THING!!! Imagine your monkey grabbing a gun off of a foreign intruder on your ship and it drops a few feet from that said, "foreign intruder", the intruder picks the gun/weapon back up and has to wait the recharge time to use the weapon again. Points? Engineer: Would be what people are asking for, "less ARK", more, "that is really cool!". Monkey: Animal companionship, and, actual functionality. I have seen few, functions for the monkey and this would be an easy adjustment for developers to accomplish, and unique. Thanks for the constructive criticism!
  15. The monkey can open and close water barrels automatically when it rains, after level 15 skill, a smart monkey. Take another sailor's knife with a command, should be an easy script to adjust instead of "attach my target" the monkey takes a weapon sorta disarms a ship assailant. But the monkey always drops the weapon a short distance away from the assailant, more of a nuisance than a threat to the assailant.

  17. To: The Developers, The Atlas is chooching along at a great pace! I can say I am seeing a world coming together and this Atlas has wondrous possibilities! I have seen my share of negative issues but not worth reporting because they seem to get into the next patch or hotfix before I can report an issue, and the fixes are more than satisfactory. You ALL are doing a great thing, thank you! As this is a suggestion part of the forums I would greatly appreciate a small contribution or a reflection on an idea of mine and a shipmate or Co, of 2 and a half (the Monkey Jack). ENGINEER AI Engineer, AI would be a really wonderful possibility to attain aboard one's ship! The engineers' duties are mainly ship repairs, and cleaning maintenance, other duties are gathering ship wreckage on the ocean. Repairs: After a battle or normal wear and tear, effects repairs drawing from available ship supplies. Also can slowly repair the player armor while drawing from the ship supplies as well. Cleaning: Poop from accidents and animal cleanup. Makes the crew happier, healthier, wealthier and wise! Less hunger too. Wreckage Gather: While over a wrecked ship Engineer gathers all the none clippable hewed logs on the surface of the ocean and adding to a ships inventory. AI Engineer Cost? Should be greatly expensive! Drinks and eats but, beer and alcohol to make cheaper for gold consumption. This, AI Engineer when onboard makes the main crew running cost much less to operate. Humanoid like could be AI character for the hands-on work and maybe a monkey to gather poop. The monkey could also work for berries and beer and has a chance of falling overboard cause he's a drunk! Future Suggestions A clad of iron, and a monitor lizzard! A long boat for the muruders of old! Keep your sails in check and your gallies clean, And give no quarter to thy enemies!
