  1. I haven't messed with the rhino on it too much. I generally don't like the rhino cause of it's stam pool/recharge. ~Lotus
  2. This is an old post -_-. For only Bamboo the bull is the best imo. If you want thatch with it the giraffe, if you want the wood then an elephant. The bear does not collect bamboo. I have not used the rhino because it's slow. For giraffe has a really good stam pool so I prefer it over the elephant for bonus stuff. ~Lotus
  3. It has as much hp as a green galley, does as much damage as a red if you get next to it. Stay infront or behind and smash it. ~Lotus
  4. You said what I was thinking . Polar dungeon was announced 3-4 months ago ~Lotus
  5. Then leave them on When I did PvP we didn't have peace time. ~Lotus
  6. Alright so I just woke up to do imprints but saw this post. I could just be tired still. I want you to take this constructively. Your post makes me think of a high school english paper. The kid tries to make it seem more sophisticated but, ends up losing clarity to the point it doesn't make sense. Maybe I just need you to show me the analogy in your post cause I'm tired. Anyway... When you talk about group size you could be talking about 2 things. So for party size yes in all games it does have a limit (to my knowledge atleast, eve seemed to have some huge battle vids though I never got that far). A group in lets say WoW for world bosses in vanilla could be multiple raid groups. ? ? -_-?? wat? Does company size = raid size? What was promised? So company limit is 75. Alliance limit is 10 . (If it's the same as PvE). So if we invite just that then raid size = 750? Odds of them all being on for an attack is low so they bring who they can, the one alliance brings who they can. This is not a battle ground it's an open world PvP system. I think they would do better with instanced combat. This was in response to basically as 1 person I should be able to do significant damage to a much larger group. So as a tribe of 1/75 you should be able to inflict substantial damage to 75/75. @Nutcutt3r said it best when he talked about people wanting an accommodations when they play alone by choice. So for your example of group limits. What MMO's have it set up in PvP that you can enter solo and gain the ability to fight with as much strength as a group? ~Lotus
  7. build a trough it's like 20 tiles. You can also put it on a boat to make it closer. ~Lotus
  8. I understand where the lack of communication is now. What I am saying is there's not really a successful game that has PvE combined with PvP where PvE players are happy and able to remain a smaller faction. The upkeep of running a large army in this game is crew maintaining so many ships and coordinating them. (It is awful on PvE and from what I saw on PvP the bigger tribes didn't even like doing it.) The exchange of one thing for another is to turn something into an advantage. The advantage in this game is to trade your small community lifestyle to become a number in a big tribe. The risk is things like the guy that put up the racist sign in another thread and now his tribe is getting punished. To me the PvP in this game is sluggish and slow and serves little fun for the amount of headache and work I need to do to get to the good stuff. ~Lotus

    Imprints

@JakeM <-- I don't know who you are but you seem to be the bug guy. I have a bug where my animals will have 100% imprint and still display the pacifier icon like they need to be imprinted. ~Lotus
  10. So you go up to him he invites, this gives you the option to join or merge if you hit merge everything with your company's ID on it comes over except the land you own (so empty your flag/bank). When you do it will bring you just you to his tribe anybody in your tribe will also need an invite. Nothing happens to his tribe. EDIT: Needs to be an owner to owner thing. ~Lotus
  11. Hello, I made a farming video. I was also kinda tired when I did it XD ~Lotus
  12. Merge into his company then transfer leadership? ~Lotus
  13. Yes we are talking about balance in company size and you put a bunch of random mechanics in. In terms of balance you are basically saying token decks should have an upkeep cost because they have to many tokens. In diablo you would be saying that you should be able to solo GR 140's if a group of 4 can run it. I asked what for your MMO reference because it's a little more intricate. For galley vs schooner it's about skill neither can easily sink the other. I stomp on immortals using military, no I have never lost to religion because as soon as I see it I stomp that civ because they invested too much tempo into a resource that yields no fighting capacity. Divinity is not a PvP game -_- We played PvP and a level 55 came up in full plate with weapons and got punched to death by a level 8 it was kinda pathetic how trash the guy was we played it off as a fluke but a major chunk of the players we came across in PvP didn't understand basics of the game it was just... sad. ~Lotus
  14. As hard as they nerf everything for the smaller tribes it's turning into a solo game I don't understand how the communists would be cheaters -_- PvE is more about building and hanging out compared to the stress of dealing with cheaters. ~Lotus
  15. Basically you are asking for the game to have a player ID added to it and a vector attached to every item that would say created by and placed by. This is fairly simple to implement it would just require some more bandwidth and a little bit more resources. Something like this would also prevent duping if they were to start giving items ID's also. They could also add a personal kill log which would have made the exp exploit black and white for who was doing it. ~Lotus
  16. I'm confused why you can't just merge into him? ~Lotus
  17. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_mechanics This is a common concept that can be seen in games everywhere. MTG - more powerful cards cost more mana ^This is a blueprint costing more. Diablo (all) - better gear is obtained with more time invested ^This is you farming blueprints. Holy trinity of MMO - DD>Support>Tank>DD ^ what? PUBG (Shooters) - Sniper hits harder, fires slower. AR fires faster, hits weaker ^galley vs schooner Civilizations - Bigger army takes a lot more gold and time to manage, less progress in other areas. Smaller army grants more flexibility in religion/science etc. ^the civ with a bigger army (mega) normally captures the city states (small tribes) in a few turns. The upkeep for the bigger army is maintenance so it's already baked in. Divinity Original Sin 2 - Magic users are weaker to physical mobs, Physical users are weaker to magic mobs. ^I played a necromancer and had high damage, phys, magic resist. My brother made a type of paladin and was basically unkillable. On and on and on I could go. There should always be a trade off when making a play style decision in a game. ^There is if you are in a small tribe you will die to a larger tribe if you can't beat them with skill. ~Lotus
  18. There's games that have this concept and they are pretty bad IMO. This is why I don't play them. A thick base will prevent you from being wiped most of the time. If they made a colonies server with the caps of empires I think it would have been better. The problem empires had when it was the old claim system which was super flawed. PvE has cheaters but it doesn't really get you an edge like it does in PvP. To me though if you have to cheat or exploit in a game you are just a weak person that did not have parents that taught you right from wrong.
  19. Where was this tested? I've only ever seen things like that in RTS ~Lotus
  20. Megas vs Megas but it turns into a huge alliance vs alliance thing but they just cheat and then it's who is better at cheating. ~Lotus
  21. You have something you can do to fight back as a small company... join or become a bigger company From my experience on PvP unless you really make somebody mad with good defenses you become a target that is effort vs reward. Megas will hit you once if they don't get anything good they will leave you alone when you rebuild. You do need to have a good relationship with the local megas and get on their do not hit list though. ~Lotus
  22. I was promised the polar dungeon mid Feb... This is the face I make now -_- it's just stuck like that. ~Lotus
  23. Ramps in some areas can eject you from the ship. When teleporting I normally let the person know because your location loads before you do so you will spawn where the ship was not where it is and end up in the ocean. SotD like to crash into me sometimes and will pull NPC's and Players off my boat -_- ~Lotus
  24. Maybe that person should ally and play with the others to make sure they mesh well with the tribe. I mean I would hook somebody up with whatever they needed if they wanted to leave but I haven't had that happen yet. The thing is the person should also talk to the leader of the tribe about things like how they feel rather than just rage quit. Most leaders of tribes are pretty cool. Some are not but most I have come across are. If the person is happy with the solo life then why would they give up the solo life that just doesn't make sense to me. ~Lotus
