  1. We have lost a few ships recently due to bad timing with storms and shallow water. Now we always have replacement planks ready however something we have had happen on every instance is that the regular plank snaps in on the bottom but places on top of an existing gunport plank wasting a replacement and letting more water in while it repairs. My suggestion is to prevent placement of a solid plank on top of gunport planks. now I understand that this might affect placing gunports over solid planks so if it is unable to be coded by type, perhaps we can make the replacement an E menu option similar to the cargoracks "create new container" feature.
  2. For anyone who experiences this issue I have found the causality. It is an issue with the UTC day 0 time and column offset. Just leave the defaults set and you will not see any wind loops. I am not sure why setting the day 0 time to match the start of the server matters but oh well at least its working normally now.
  3. Bump on this one. I haven't seen many people with this issue but am still having it.
  4. I have this same issue and just created a new thread. I don't know what causes this. Were you able to get this fixed???
  5. So I went about creating a server on a local box I had just kinda laying around. Server config was fun and fairly easy to complete however once I logged into the server I noticed that the wind was constantly looping from full to none and back again. The server is not rubber banding at all so im not sure what could be causing it. The option for use utc time is checked and the column UTC offset was set for 51 (not sure why) but I updated that to -5 to match my time zone. I set server day 0 to be the time I started the server as well thinking that it could be a time sync issue. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this weird issue? I haven't seen anyone talking about it.
  6. I had something similar happen to me last night although not as bad. I was in game and could not craft in my personal inventory. I felt that a relog could fix the issue and when I logged back in I was at my last spawn point. I had no inventory and so I went to where I logged out and my body was there asleep. Now I was able to craft again and also able to regain my inventory however when I speak in game my chat bubble comes from the other body and I'm not gaining XP.
  7. well that may be the case. I know it was 40s. that would also explain why it stopped leveling up. Regardless of the level it was literally sunk in seconds.
  8. Wow lost a lvl 45 brig to a lvl 2 SOD. What the heck man I spent like 60 hrs on that ship!
