Can the devs chime in at this point maybe or is this forum as useless as the game is?

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with unofficial server settings? Having an issue since the last update where transferring between servers causes loss of all gear and ships. Roll back has been attempted but the back-up save does not seem to have rolled the server back. Looking for some helpful info. Thanks
