  1. Not sure if the CCC is required for this, but this is the CCC of my port: cheat TP K14 270861 -378495 211 I had a brig with about 20 crew anchored. About 500 feet away I had a schooner, with 2 crew (one on each sail). When I unanchored my schooner and started sailing, I noticed that to the right of my ship there was about 20 or so crew members following me in the water. However, their positions were remaining static, relative to my schooner. For whatever reason, it picked up all my crew from my brig, locked their positions in place (relative to the position of my schooner), and carried them along with me. Luckily, I was able to turn around and go back to my area to put my crew back. Relevant Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/6gRlWTu
  2. cheat TP I13 330374 375874 -71 Ship name is Rollin Thunder NA PVE. Had anchored my brig off the side of an island a few hours ago. It was full health on everything. When I logged in, my ship was gone, there was wreckage, and my crew in the water. Someone was salvaging my ship. The only reason that any of this even happened is because I was forced to anchor my ship because I couldn't leave the grid due to a bug (which was patched later after I logged). Is there any way to solve this or anything that can be done? I mean this is completely unacceptable. I did nothing wrong, I logged off safely. I anchored my ship. My 14 crew members were on board idle/repairing. And I log into my ship being destroyed. We're talking 50+ hours of work (it was level 40 or so) gone.
  3. Noticed this bug yesterday while sailing my Brig. Started getting an alert that the ship was sinking. Turns out a bird landed on the top deck and was walking around. I don't think passive creatures that can randomly land on your ship should have the capability to sink/damage it.
  4. NA PVE cheat TP J13 399133 340487 8540 Was rock climbing to the top of the cliff to do a fine treasure map. I climbed to an area that was blue (meaning I can safely land), and my screen turned black and simply said 'you died.' Notice that this message is different than the 'you killed yourself.' message. The coordinates are right around the area where this bug occurred. Upon respawn my body was no where to be found. This is one of the most frustrating things I have ever encountered. I had two fully upgraded and important items on my body that took me a long time to craft. I had a journeyman bow and a journeyman sword. Not to mention losing the treasure map (1k+ gold). Seriously very very very disappointed with this.
  5. cheat TP J11 -63230 -422450 360 NA PVE As I was raising the boat anchor, I jumped off to fetch something from the water. I think the auto anchor from the NPC crew screwed up because the anchor has the reverse effects now. When I man the wheel, I cannot use 'x' to lower the anchor. I have to manually do that from looking and using the ship. When the anchor is lowered I can rotate the sails. I cannot open the sails. I can turn the boat or back it up. When the anchor is raised, it has the effects of when the anchor should be lowered. My ship will be standing still and raised slightly from the water. Edit: Solved. Took all the NPC crew off the sails. Lowered the anchor manually. As the anchor was lowering, I jumped off the ship. This fixed the issue. That was an annoying 30 minuted of my life though, I hope someone sees and fixes this bug.
  6. Right, that makes sense for a freeport. But it will penalize players for taking their time browsing shops in free ports. If there are hundreds of shops with different prices and items - I would like to look at a lot of them. Maybe even talk with some of the owners.
  7. Player shops should be available in three areas, not just freeports. Should be: freeports, lawless, and claimed territory. No one is going to enjoy having their shops in freeports because of the increased ship decay rate. Ideally, having player shops in claimed territories can allow players to turn their islands into really interesting trading hubs. I think it would be very interesting if a certain area or island was known for having good prices/rare resources. It would encourage trade routes and people to travel.
  8. You clearly don't understand anything. If you are a single player and you have a variety of claims, then it's super easy for others to contest and take your claims. You lose a claim within 6 hours (even less if you have more claims) and you aren't resting in it. So, it's super easy for a new player to steal (not steel) land. In order to put taxes into place you need to build a tax bank on your claim that you want to tax. I have no clue what rent system you're talking about? Anyways, quit bitching. You're annoying. Just do what everyone else has done. Go to a lawless zone, build a small base, gather resources, and build a sloop/schooner. While doing this, gather treasure maps. Then do some treasure maps, and while doing them, look for an abandoned territory to contest. Took me literally one day to find claimable land three grids away from a freeport. And I got my piece of land last week. Not at game launch.
  9. Tried this in a variety of ways. What I discovered was that the AI crew has more power to steer (going left or right), but will not go directly backwards. This is at least the case for a Galleon. I would take an AI crew member, put them at the wheel, then indicate the direction to be directly behind (confirmed by the secondary arrow on the ship UI). The behavior that the AI would exhibit, is that it would try to steer one direction for quite some time, then eventually try the other direction. I'm assuming it was trying to turn the ship around completely. When it would steer (either left or right), it would steer powerful enough to start damaging the hull of the ship. I let this go on for sometime, but no progress was made. The fact is that I need the ship to back up, not go left or right.
  10. cheat TP I13 202583 -230686 1048 My galleon is completely stuck. I accidentally guided it into shallow waters near a shore. Holding the 'S' key with the sails closed refuses to back it up. It cannot go forward at all or turn on either side. When anchored and I swim behind it, it appears as if there should be enough room for it to back up safely. I have researched, and since there is no way of moving a stuck ship, I decided to post in this forum. Edit: Solved the issue. Discovered that in order for the backing up function to work on the ship, the sails must be turned so that the wind is catching them (even if they are fully closed)
