  1. If you leave the MetaWorld URL empty it will default the map \ShooterGame\ServerGrid
  2. What KingMarcel did is actually right. I did the same and it is working for me.
  3. Howmany grids are you using? If you use more then 1 then make sure that the AltSaveDirectoryName is unique to every batch file. So for grid 0,0 set it as, for example, A1 or something to your liking. Also your QueryPort is the same as your Port. Those need to be different. You typed in a 5 to many on the Port.
  4. So the server password thing is a bug. It will be fixed in the release of v10. Not seeing it is because there will ONLY be 5000 servers shown in the ingame browser. It is a steam thing and nothing that currently can be done about it. They are working on it.
  5. Hello, I dont know about the PvE or PvE setting of the server. What I can tell you is that it would be easier to put it on PvP and enforce with admins a PvE ruleset. I am going to do the same on my server because I dont know how to code it in. As for the password you have to edit the ServerGrid.json file and there is a entry like this: "WorldAtlasPassword": "insertyourpasswordhere", The file is located in your *:\youratlasserverfolder\ShooterGame\
  6. Good afternoon, Can you also post the output of the command screen that you have? That tells us a lot as well and the batch file/command line you use to load it in. Also try this, because of the load times: Go to your *:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Content\Movies\ Move the 2 movie files in there to a other folder so they wont be loaded in anymore. Also, see if you setup the IP to your own IP that you got from the ISP. One way to do that is check it on whatismyip.com It is to rule out some problems.
  7. Yes we do, All the grids have the same password. People join in through the ingame browser and not the server list of steam. So it "should" not effect the current 9.3 bug. I know the server list bug is going to be fixed in v10
  8. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Maybe someone could help me with this error message I am getting. Network Failure Message Unable to query server info So this happens when someone goes from my B1 grid to C1. Now when I restart my server completely it loads in C1. So I thought, I go back to B1 because it worked before the server restart. Seems I got the same message. My server specs: Intel Xeon X5650 @ 2.67GHz 2 x 6 Cores. 196GB ECC RAM Windows Server 2016 Connectivity to the server is not a problem and neither is the listing on the game browser. It is just so weird, it works and then it doesnt. Anyone has the same problem? The screen shows it had done a Full Startup in 47 seconds on all 16 grids without error. This is just speculation but it feels like it reserves are core for each grid and the 4 grids that is has to put on Hyper threading just give the problem. The server load is on 77% on the CPU in total even with players on it. I hope someone might be able to help or give some insight on the technical aspects of running an Atlas server. _d

  11. If you are running your own private server and a map you created yourself (or got it from someone else) and there are no ports then there probably are none. Check with the editor if the spawn regions have ports, they normally have NPCs where you can buy crew.   12. What is the command you run for updating? Maybe there is something wrong. Check if you can validate your server.
  13. Hi Magnustblack, Me and my kid brother have our own server, a 12 grid (3x4) and we are making our own map at the moment. I hope it will be finished this week so we can put it on live. We have a PvE ruleset for land and a PvP ruleset for the sea. We are currently putting in 6 biomes with a tradeship, ghost ship, the stone quest. So you and your friend are so interested you are more then welcome to join the server once it is done. We run small groups so far and we already got 3 groups that are interested in playing there.   14. I am not talking about rcon. Just see if you can see the server in the steam server list when adding it to your favorites. I did not do the ReconPort forward and all works well.
  15. If your PC is setup right check your router? I know I am typing the obvious but some routers do need a restart when configuration the ports.
