  1. Lawless zones are currently 'starter' zones but they are actually normal islands that were not intended for starter use. The reason they added it is because the freeports were unplayable day 1. These zones don't have the rapid decay of freeports. Another thing is its actually easy to sink someone elses raft at the moment by overloading the raft with weight (e.g. overloading yourself and standing on it) or by having to many people stand on it. but this is a seperate bug entirely.
  2. This is why I always stop the boat at the border and zone first to check. But it is annoying.
  3. You don't actually lose any resources when gathering in a taxable area, its generates new resources for the players who own the territory and thats it. I've tested and get the exact same resources in territories with 30% tax.
  4. Just a heads up these are the ships of the damned, Actual ghosts ships are something else entirely (Its an actual spectral galleon)
  5. huh I dont get you? For starters rafts aren't personal, they are company owned so if you are near your friends raft it won't decay. Second the radius for decay isn't draw distance its more like half - 3/4's of the entire island. Third, rafts decaying in 12 hours unactive in a freeport is intended so there arent 5,000 abandoned rafts sitting there blocking anyone from building a new one and sailing off to the rest of the game. Finally rafts not in a freeport will be absolutely fine and will take weeks to decay without repair. you basically stated an in-game mechanic that stops the STARTER area from getting to a stage where its UNPLAYABLE i.e. preventing new players from progressing in the game, yet are trying to pass it off as a bug? Unless something really different to what you originally described is actually happening but then you need to re-explain it better.
  6. the unattended rafts probably have people nearby gathering resources on the island so therefore it doesn't decay. You can also repair your raft by holding E -> repair as long as you don't let it hit 0 hp. you aren't supposed to stay a freeport, its build a raft and get out to the islands to start your base.
  7. it decays only when you aren't active close by. Luckily it takes like 5minutes to make a raft in a freeport.
  8. This is definitely not the right forum to post this, you can mine salt from salt rocks found on some islands (its a rather rare resource to find). For example the freeport islands have at least 2,000 salt worth of rocks that respawn every 10minutes or so.
  9. Discovered a bug that allows you to steal claims of active companies on the PvE server and it doesn't even need a loophole, currently its possible to just place a claim flag down even when others are online and standing next to me. It would seem the 3 day timer is not working or it does not refresh when people are active in the area meaning it can be stolen 3 days after it is placed regardless of activity? The claims in question were 100% definitely placed after the patch that updated how claims work. This would need a fix that is 100% retroactive because right now with how claims work it is impossible to replace our claims in the exact spots they are and leaving our claims open to be stolen like the previous claim fix is unacceptable. As of writing my companies base that we spent a combined 200 hours building is now up for grabs as soon as we log off and this is something that would definitely make me quit and never return to this game.
