  1. 30% speed does not equate to game play locking. Vanilla is notoriously easier than the current live game with only leveling, legendary drop rates, gates of AQ and gold making being the real challenge. I've been in cutting edge guilds, I got cutting edge during Legion which this game has nothing like so there is literally no point of reference here. LFR is gated by a minimal gear score of basic heroic dungeon gear, current expansion also bypasses this with Warfronts and world content. My point was there are systems in place in WoW which allow for solo players to actually do content without heavily relying on others, this involves LFR and LFG as they are literally a click of a button without need for prior organisation or punishing you for playing differently from others doing that content. Getting into groups you need a good Raider.io score for Mythic + at current, which is automatically calculated without the player even needing to know about it so this also is a non-issue for solo players. Regardless, as I stated earlier, content is not limited with anything outside of cosmetics in the current game as they have learnt that is preferable, this isn't even going into the catch up mechanics WoW has every tier for new players to keep up with top end gear.
  2. The quests don't contain an entirely different way to play the game and until the new tame comes in nothing will compare because regardless of if you can do most of the things with the diving suit it is far less enjoyable to use and isn't an entirely new vehicle for people to enjoy but we will need more information on how obtainable this tame will be. Until there is a REAL alternative to what the submarine brings people will complain because it is placing it behind a barrier that may not be accomplishable by small groups and if they intend to maintain the barrier then like you I hope the tame will make up for this. Give us ship cosmetics as a reward that is seemingly lacking in the game, give us a whole new level of gear crafting, weapon crafts, ship crafts, unique themeds cosmetics, things that separate players but not isolating them from areas of the game.
  3. Most trading takes place outside of the game, this involves 3rd party websites/discord servers. It should be obtainable by solo and small groups without having to do this, it's the same principle. Just for the record, I'm not in a small company and I'm pretty content with how I play the game. I partake in trading etc but that doesn't mean ignoring how others play the game because I play differently is how the game will improve. It's got to be a even playing field for people but still rewarding, advocating that is how we will get the best game possible.
  4. Invalid argument till we are aware how we obtain them.
  5. Hidden phases and extra bosses such as Illidan appearing at the end of the Gul'dan fight etc are a valid point; however the only difference here is they only dropped cosmetic differences (the mythic Gul'dan mount here) and again something that doesn't separate people, titanforging heroic, normal or even lfr gear scales the gear gap and most gear is from dungeons in WoW these days. Deemed stupid though? The player base has been complaining about LFR since it's launch and it hasn't been changed, nothing has been changed to take content away from players that drastically change game play, this is entirely cosmetic changes which has been the case since Challenge Mode was introduced in WoD. If you're making a comparison to something that can effect game play like a submarine your argument would be if Blizzard locked sea mounts behind a boss fight in Cataclysm which was never the case. As I said, cosmetic and blueprints would be more acceptable just like WoW do to their hidden phases and secret bosses. The submarine is arguably game changing for the previous mentioned reasons, even more so if we get more expansions around The Trench and under water exploration is increased. The game needs to be a fair balance between all groups with rewarding options for playing any way you see fit as some people just won't have enough time to sink in but those who can may be rewarded with their fair share of loot that doesn't take away from people playing the game in a certain way.
  6. Rewarding end game content with better blue prints/cosmetics to stand out makes more sense than having a submarine locked behind it. I saw the analogy to WoW further up but experiencing different ways to play the game isn't something Blizzard have locked behind difficulty and is perfectly doable by solo players/small groups with the LFG system however they separate it with time gating releases on things like LFR and preventing forging scaling high enough before mythic release, gear wise you can get the best gear from a dungeon or heroic raid as you can from a mythic with their titanforge system so comparing the two things here couldn't be any more different and completely obsolete (on top of the entirely different game models plus instanced dungeons for players etc.) I think if the reward should remain from Kraken then allow private instancing for the event to prevent players spawning the Kraken to annoy players trying to do it issue, otherwise unique cosmetics and blueprints with a drop % that encourages multiple kills would definitely be the best investment from boss fights plus assist solo players in getting kills if bigger groups have a reason to keep running it and would also help the economy if selling these sought after blue prints was possible.
  7. It's unfortunate, we'd love another settler. Miss having a active server where everyone spoke before the wipe.
  8. Anyone can build on your island regardless of the company only build option, you can just remove it in the first 24 hours of it being placed afterwards you're stuck with it if they're active.
  9. 10 Galleons, 10 brigs and 4 schooners ready to go when you are
  10. Set up a breeding pen in E5, literally doesn't go below 7 degrees. Bred 4 bears there now, can also set up a potato farm so you don't have to worry about food. I feed them till they can hold 500 potatoes and thats it barring imprinting. They haven't had any cold or warm weather spurts once whilst being there, this zone is literally heaven for bear breeding and it's lawless so you can go dump up a building without worrying about island owners getting annoyed. Swings between 7 and 16 degrees, planning on testing horses there too. Update on horse breeding here, 5 campfires lit at all times means no damage to your horse from cold or warm weather. Take an elephant, fill the campfires to the brim and enjoy your horse when it's grown.
  11. 100% agree, however I'd not make it weekly, just make it an option in general. Pre-wipe we was in a company, leader went ape and demoted all admins over night out of paranoia that after months of playing we would randomly declaim flags and leave. He was hardly online, did nothing but build up a town from the tax bank only he had access to and we all had a lot more to lose. One minute he was willing to give leader because we didn't want to have him there anymore, 3 hours later 180'd his choice which ended up with us all leaving and destroying the company (he was left with 2 members after everyone left because he didn't want to step down.) Fortunately because we secured alliances we joined one of the companies we was close with and he "didn't want to damage the alliance" so let us leave peacefully with our things (unlike previously where he trapped members he didn't like and forced them to leave their stuff behind despite all most all of the admins disagreeing.) I understand the "you should do research" argument but this isn't like World of Warcraft where you can look into the history of a group and they'll have their own websites etc. this is Atlas and having to worry about if someone will change their mind within the next hour isn't nice in a game where you can spend so much time building everything then have no right to it if that person decides. This would be a huge protection for communities. The only REAL issue I could see is if someone recruited a large group of friends and they coup d'etat but that's more so on the leader for trusting a large group of individuals.
  12. If you're after settling properly you'll be better off moving to a more remote region and scouting an island properly before claiming (make a settlement there and see what the population is like if it has any.) I've only had one issue on our island and that's a guy who set up here before and doesn't settle but comes back every 7 days so his wooden floors don't get wiped then disappears again (he's level 54 so he's active somewhere, time isn't an issue for this guy and he doesn't speak when we have tried talking to him unfortunately.) The island is in no way benefiting from him, so be thankful if they do build I guess or keep looking for somewhere else without developed buildings.
  13. We got 14 hours in with campfires but cold weather got them sadly, wasn't able to leave them at all,1 hour break with no one watching was enough to kill them. Rip Stan, Stuart and Susan.

Feet on the Army of the Damned set make my characters feet disappear, can send screenshot if needed.
  15. Seems to be an issue that's occurred more than once, Razortooth carry weight going to -0.00 and it being unable to move despite not having anything in its inventory or a rider on its back. Happened to one of our males but fixed shortly, it's been on our new female for approximately 4 hours now. EU PvE, can provide screenshot of carry weight being at said numbers if needed.
