500 ? That Does seem excessive. Suggestions: Limits on the number of people that can be in a clan? (I'm sure that's not a new idea !) Limit the amount of builds on any parcel of land, Adding a way to give building/usage permissions to allies. And of course, I support the idea of a Limit the number of claims of any one person (particularly on PVE) Maybe start with 2 and add an upkeep cost with gold -- you could go 2-3 weeks out with the payment, Make crafting a new claim something with high mat cost. But seriously the idea that 500 clan members with unlimited claim flags is just stupid. What new player could ever find a space at that rate.

I would also prefer a game that was more playing and less grinding. 2.5 x did NOT seem OP.

Something like this should be documented with pictures, in my opinion. I hate to mention the awful "H" word, but it's possible that there might be hacks.

I have noticed no difference between areas that have the 30% tax and areas that do not with respect to the mats I've gathered. Perhaps before everyone goes crazy on this that should be clarified... and by clarified I mean officially get an answer. Not independent antidotal testing which might be due to lag or specific type of tree etc.

Honestly that sort of asshattery is why the Official Servers will lose population. If no one monitors the malicious stuff people do like that. I can imagine it would be overwhelming to find dependable GMs for this game, but yikes.

This seems to be VERY common. That along with stealing land by overlapping. I love the game, but seems like --as usual--people are using the mechanics of the game to exploit the shit out of a few things. Very frustrating for those of us that play by the rules. (and yeah I suspect they are generally in the 12-14 y.o range.)
