  1. Wouldn't it be nice to have another way to get resources rather than just constant farming? What if on the water instead of just SoTD everywhere there was also fully manned NPC crew ships of adjusted levels, After successfully sinking one of said ships you could gain a decent amount of resources that would be generated at random, 1k metal/500 gems/2k wood etc. Currently with the SoTD a loot chest may contain some blueprints and literally a berry or two but no kind of considerable worth it loot. This would incentivize actually getting on the water and pirating and not just endless farming where the only reason to sail is to get to another island. Instead you actually have game play on the water, I realize that pvp servers have the added game play of other player ships but in PVE there is no such benefits. I think this could create a good balance for both game types, with PVP having more people fighting over ship cargo on the water, and in PVE adding additional content for more immersion and less constant grind on land. There is already infrastructure for NPC crews to fully navigate a ship, so this shouldn't be hard to implement.
  2. 100% agree, Damage fall off by distance is way better than just nerfing the damage.
  3. Honestly being able to specify the amount you want to transfer from any container would be ideal.
  4. I like that, especially if it provided the same result as being anchored, the water gets deep extremely fast and some of the smaller ships have to get pretty close to land to anchor.
  5. That could be pretty interesting, Though I could see there being a requirement for a certain number of people grappled to the ship depending on size to pull it.
  6. Why do animals aggro to ships? This makes no sense. It doesn't matter if you are anchored or not and it also happens if you or a company member are online or offline on the ship, They will even aggro to the npc crew members and tamed animals. Obviously they can't hit anyone on the ship so instead they just sink the ship if you happen to be offline and don't see it. Can we get this fixed? We lost a brig to an aligator while at work and a sloop to some wolves, all while we were offline.
