There needs to be a dedicated animal to thatch collecting cause right now the best way to get thatch is only using a pickaxe the only animals that collect thatch don't collect enough of it to make it worth the time taming them either the Bull, Giraffe, or Shieldhorn need to be better then a pickaxe at collecting thatch we have the Elephant for collecting wood and the Rhino is good for stone, flint, an metal this would be a small quality of life change to the game
