Yep this is my point. Don´t get how it can so hard to understand.

Well if you as a owner don't do that you will loose companys (taxpayers) to other islands that make a defended harbor for the islands renters. ...or you can go together if the owners is weak and in that way put a better company as the ruler.

Don´t you get it? The owner of the island need to be the main builders and defender of the island. The company's paying taxes to the owner can focus on being pirates and building ships. The price is tax. If the tax is to much move to another island, or heck why only rent on one island? You have builders in your team? = Try to get a island. You have only people wanting to sail? = Pay tax and no need to build defense before you can sail. I love this.

Me to... Made 6 Materwork large cannons took a long ass time and travels to get all the stuff now 3 out of 6 are normal large cannons. Feels bad.

Yep going with my new ship to by npc at freeport... now cant login, tying non stop last 3h. The stress is real.

Well it is a suggestion for the developers to put time on when they have it and I post it now not for the bigger picture/planing of the game. Everything is not right here right now.

So I love this game and I know it is much to work on to make it the game of our dreams. Something I do not love is Large Gates spamming. I suggest a system where your character will be happy/sad with possetive and negative stats depending on your character home environment. It would give people a reason to decorate their homes, build stylish villages, mighty forts that actually look good. Taste is of course up to each one but if we can be a little elitist then I think we could make Atlas beautiful.

Well you can play solo byt then you almost need to rent land from a company. Gold/food/something for land. The game is new and i guess thiss will be the norm in some weeks.

I can be the cook! Sounds so fun :) With a wall and farms outside of it.
