  1. Well said and I agree with what you're saying. You don't have to go too far to see what players WANT to have in this game. A lot of us see the diamond in the rough, and come back to see the changes that are being made, get disappointed, and leave again. One thing to note is that you will NEVER make content faster than players can consume. Blizzard failed at that, and they are a major player in the mmo world, and others followed that same path have failed as well, but they changed their strategy. We should learn from that and not repeat the same mistake. It's more about "bringing the player back" to do the same content, in different way, and to hook them into playing more and more. It's not about making me play for 10 hours a day, it's about bringing me back everyday to do something. Most of our current players are here for ship battles and sailing and all that, but surprisingly, they spend more time on land than on the sea. From building to taming to farming. How about we give them some content to do while sailing that isn't, whaling, SotD, or flotsam?
  2. Ronnie has been hosting ARK servers for some years now and his services has always been of extreme quality. EliteArk was ranked top#1 several times and is always among the top ranking servers. His Atlas map is unique, with unique plugins, and a very active community. You will not regret your time here.

    Where's the DEV Kit Grapeshot?

The game needs the god damn devkit to be released. Players who like the game and willing to put in effort will make it into what it's supposed to be. Not what the devs THINK the players want. At least with mods available, the game can ACTUALLY be what players want it to be.
  4. So when is the Devkit being released?
  5. This works perfectly. Highly recommended if you want to setup a donation / shop on your server to help out with the costs. Atlas servers require extreme power and are not cheap to host (the good ones at least). Every bit counts!
  6. From what I've been reading, it seems that it won't be as easy as "shipweightsetting=5.0" or something similar. It might only be changed by a Mod. I hope that's not the case, but it might be the case. Ships seem to be acting like Rafts from ARK with more building slots. Rafts never had weight increasing setting other than mods.
  7. I've been looking for this since we started hosting our server. Nobody seems to have it. I guess all we can do is wait for the DevKit. Only 3-4 more days. IF they don't delay.
