you can play solo but your options are extremely limited. i myself managed to build a sloop and sail back to free port sounds great right?, but then you realise it decays faster then a chocolate in the sun and wake up to find it gone. So that leaves me with two options, join a company or go around griefing

Well thanks for that but believe it or not my question still stands

so how long can i expect my sloop too last in a free port? i mean can i even sleep or do i have to 24/7 the game?should be a day or so at least imo if it isnt already. free ports should be a place of trade/regroup/ and a rest for ships and crew without the worry of such nonsense. imagine if in wow you woke up in SW/Org to find you armour/weapons had broke for ever lol.
