After a hard day of grinding, finally building a Sloop, we called it a day. We were looking forward to exploring other islands and maybe building a second base.
We went out from our original island/base to go exploring. It was super exciting!
We figured that all of the islands close to us we're gonna be taken, so it wasn't a big deal. We kept going on, and on, and on. Every island had claims everywhere, and we couldn't find a spot.
We spend 2-3 hours looking for anything, but every island was red. We decided to call it a night and we logged off on the sloop.
My girlfriend came back the day after and she found out that she had been killed in her own house, in her claimed area, on a PVE server. Afterwords, they even claimed our area and now we can't do anything. We were told that we "Have to be active within the claim area within 3 days" before someone can claim our stuff. My ship also got sunk/is bugged because we can't see or find it. What do we do?
Feels like we can't do anything now because every island is claimed, and our only claim is gone.
I like this game a lot, so does my girlfriend, but something needs to change regarding claims, they're pretty unfun and quite frankly annoying in their current state.
