These developers suck. No other way around it.

Man you really borked this game. Used to play all the time, and enjoyed it. Then you listen to the criers and whiners and made it stupid. Just checking back in, yep- borked.

I would move my game inin and gameusersettings ini to the desktop and let the game recreate them when it launches and see what that does. There are some cache folders as well you could try.

I am guessing you used some sort of launch command with Steam that is the main cause though. The C+ should be in a redistributables folder in the game directory.

Well if a poll were like a vote it may matter, but just because someone and his buddies want to start a "poll" while 90% of the player base is not even aware of or participating in. Then your results are pretty skewed and invalid.

Kind of like the topic of the post, most of the "fun stuff" for holidays went away because 10% of the population screamed that it was insensitive, racial or went against their atheist beliefs. Must have missed that poll/vote, though too.

Derr never mind I see your on PVE.  First thing is find out where you want to build and then see who your neighbors will be. Still be better off finding an island owned by someone. Either way live off your boat, build like everything is temporary at first and then see from there.

Then build a bigger boat or two and repeat.

Better read the patch notes then, I thing you missed a few hundred things.

Set him to follow another tame leave and come back.

Otherwise tame another he is a 41, you could have a 44 to start with.

Wife and I were just bored yesterday and used a mod, wanted to check out the mermaid area, and since Blackwood has no json we are starting over with something new anyway.

Anyone know if the sub works on Blackwood? I put fuel in but it still says no fuel?

Build a 1 x 1 pen and fill it full of chickens. They are so piled together that when you press f you get whats in the whole pen. Eggs too.

all because a map is free, doesn't mean it shouldn't have the latest content.

See the general idea is join a tribe and do just that. You can host a server, rent a server, or play singleplayer if thats what you like.

I actually thought this was how they were going to release the servers to begin with, the way it was described/advertised.

Just for thought you could respec once per level, pve or pvp.

A little creative thinking would give certain things only each could do. Making trade etc viable. For example taming.  Maybe only the pve player could make the highest level defenses and trade, say for faster ships on pvp side. doubt I have to look to far to see a pve player exited about WPE, I wonder why? I liked playing pvp but got tired of it and left because it was player vs door not player, you just lost everything while offline, so I know why a lot of people think the way they do.

There are most likely a lot of great ideas if people would get creative and think of some. Honestly there is a lot lacking in the game over all right now even on the pve side, it gets boring pretty quick.

Maybe only certain islands are pvp, maybe only ships in certain areas, etc. Maybe just a couple grids some where to test and see what might work. It may bring some changes to the claim system to make it viable.

If it did/could work it would not have anything to do with the pvper 4 grids away took all our stuff when we were offline.

Because I believe BW is a free map, and the person that made it is responsible for updating it, when you demand stuff that would be a paid DLC.

I am sure the BW creator is taking donations.

Metal and fish are still there, maybe in certain spots but apparently that's Blackwood.
