I was just swimming next to it and while holding e I was prompted the ability to claim the ship. But it's of no use for bigger ships, because you are not able to scuttle them.

You can claim also larger ships, I claimed an abandoned Schooner. Problem there is now, that I own the ship and just the ship.. everything else still belongs to the original owner. Therefore I'm unable to scuttle it, to interact with the sails or the steering wheel. So it just sits in its original place, just with a green name over it

Hi there, playing on EU-PVE in a non-Freeport, non-Lawless area. Was killed by vultures due to low health while farming and wanted to gather my stuff, but my corpse was gone. The only thing that was left, was a stack of wood laying on the ground, with a decay timer of 1 minute. No bag, no corpse and also no blue "light" to indicate the place where i died. Greetings

and the closest freeport server is down -.-

To me it seems only fishes, that u need to hit at least twice to kill them, drop resources. Tried this several times and it works fine for me.
