And then there's a distinct chance when they wipe the servers all your efforts getting these discovery points will go out the window. It is a really demotivating system.

So I've heard behind closed doors Jat has talked to players and told them there may be a server wipe coming up soon along with a major patch. How about instead of just talking to certain people and letting the rumor spread, you disclose this to entire community so we can all be on the same page? I'd like details of the likelihood of a wipe, when it would occur, what would and wouldn't transfer over, etc. Do I keep my discovery points and level? Or is this a complete and utter wipe?

What do you think? Forgot to change their steam password after the last "hack"?

No, that would be something sensible to do, never gonna happen. So I'm stuck restarting my game and seeing "Server Full" over and over when I try to log in.

Trapped in a limbo of inability to login because of the server being full. Way to go ATLAS, smart deployment as per usual.

Had completely and utterly wiped an enemy based, you rolled back my ship from the safety of returning to the harbor victorious to right in front of their mortars. Thanks for yet another fuck-over due to your incompetence.

Issue has not been resolved, still unable to log in.

I entered a freeport coming from a lawless zone with a ship with two elephants on it. Upon entering one of the elephants glitched out and started flying in the air. So I turned around to try switching zones again to see if it would fix it, and instead of fixing it, I am now stuck in an infinite loop transitioning between zones. I can not log into the game because it says I'm transferring between servers, and other company members can see my ship going back and forth on the map. When they try to spawn on my bed it just throws them in the ocean. Edit: After about 4 hours i got unstuck. Here's a series of glitches I've encountered in this process. So first boat wouldn't move from the harbor, sails wouldn't turn, boat wouldn't slowly move like it does when you wasd. No sandbar, nothing.I had to nudge it with another boat to kickstart it. Barely leave my harbor and 4 planks explode out of nowhere. Again, no sandbar, no enemies. Transfer zones and one of the two elephants I have on board flies into the air. Try to leave zone to unstick the elephant from the sky, get stuck between zones for about 4 hours. After logging back on finally park in freeport after getting ship back because of an attack on allies, check durability it is about 4200 on the planks. Teleport back to the ship, ship sinks immediately and every bit of loot on it despawns, not planks gone, not taking on water, just immediately sinks and despawns. Build a ramshackle sloop to bring the elephant home, it won't move from the freeport. Bring another sloop over to the ramshackle (mind you going one zone away, it was not even 10 minutes) to pick up the elephant, the ramshackle sloop sinks when I show up, pick up the elephant. On the way home after getting hit by a cyclone the elephant starts flying in the air like the other one did. It flies parallel to the ship off in the distance, so after I got home and parked the boat I swam out into the middle of the ocean and coaxed it down from it's flight and brought it back home. So lost another boat to glitches, my 6th so far, and an elephant, and a lot of time.

Nothing is going to change in a few months, this shit still hasn't stopped in ARK.

You never make your deadlines and you just piss people off. It is a running joke, and not one that's funny. Instead tell people the problem you're currently working on and once the patch is finally ready give people a 10 minute warning to get to safety. Finish the patch, then make the announcement. Stop with this ridiculous patch announcements all day crap.

I went to sleep thinking "They'll fix the resource spawn issue by the time I wake up". Nope, everything still gone.

I've had 3 different schooners just explode, all in M8, all in the last 24 hours. One after the new patch as soon as I dropped it from a shipyard I've dropped multiple ships from. I also saw someone complain in general chat that their ship exploded upon entering the zone when leaving the freeport.

Maybe fix all the exploits, do something about aimbotters before a reset. Considering they never fixed it in ARK, probably won't in this either. Also a restart timer of every 12 or so hours to keep the server caches fresh would probably be a good idea in the future. Surprised they don't already.

Finished up making 18 planks for my schooner, and as soon as I pulled them out, poof, all but 1 are gone. 17 planks I spent hours farming mats for just gone. Same thing happened with the decks, pulled both decks out, and poof, they became just 1 deck. It was a large storage box (yes, pincoded, yes behind a locked door). It had a folder in it, maybe that's why?

The delays, the streamer preferential treatment, the lack of communication. Yeah, it is has been said ad nauseum on all the social media platforms, but I'd like to put it right here on the ARK ATLAS forums. You really messed this up. You're still getting my money because I'm a sucker, and I will stumble through the game for the mess it is surely to be once the store finally lets me buy it, before I go and do Christmas stuff over the next few days and don't play at all, because this is one of the worst times you could possibly release it.
