Can we please not give more tools for griefers on PVE servers?

This claim general topic has alot of attention as you can see when browsing trough the forums. it is currently borderline unplayable and offer griefers a paradise. Like killing you with a repair hammer in PVE

Still better to say clearly its EA and also the pricetag of 20 USD is more then fair for what we have now. A game like Battliefield 5 got shipped as a finished product for 60 USD, but could also be easily marked as an early access game considering how problematic the release was and how barebones the content was and still is.

Dont worry. You are not missing out on anything. I claimed land from some poor soul and he wasnt even able to defend and I am sure someone else did the same to me while I am at work. The game is currently broken and you do yourself a favor if you stay away from land claming atm.

Because as it is now with the rates of gathering resources and skill system it takes hours if not days of real life time to build high end stuff only to lose it within minutes by a bug. The current rates are set for a stable version of the game, but the game database has holes like a Swiss cheese causing constant loss of data for players or whole loss of bases due to bugged and broken claim system.

Nowhere. Sap is mainly exclusive for the tropes in plentifull amounts and temperate in much rarer deposits of honey. Maybe in the future it can be a rare drop from some trees in Tundra biomes. You have to do like me and sail down to collect the sweet sauce (I guess you want the fur armor)

At this point I wish for a server wipe. I was searching three days for a free spot on an island. I was able to claim land (with the 10 hours claim period and not the current broken one). Also one of the rules I set for myself was to claim only flags without any buildings in the area and I managed to do just that. What if Iam sleeping inside my area? Can they still claim it?

No point honestly. Apparently if you place a new flag on your old claimed flag, the 3 day time works properly, but if you already lost your land and ship there is literally no point in playing PVE. Also seemingly you can lose the land even if you logged off inside the claimed land. I am at work atm and if I log back in later today finding my land claimed I will walk away from the game no doubt about it. Only if a complete server wipe happens soon I will come back.

You do realise that right now it is super easy to claim someones flag up to the point of being broken. People losing land after being offline for a few hours.

I did warn people from building on PVE server and at this point with all the shit happening around claming flags all over the place and people losing hours and hours of work a server wipe is very needed right now.

If stuff like this happens then there is literally no reason to play now.

I am on a tropical island and it has rained once in like 4 days of game time. Its no very often, but if it rains it will the barrel with enough water to last easily till the next rain.

The skill limitations are made to have a bigger impact in true player specialization where trading not only resources is a thing, but also services like cooking, tanning, etc. This is all fine and good, but during this early access period makes little sense to me. True player trading and everything with it connect is not viable in such unstable game builds where people are being hit with rollbacks and losing stuff almost every new patch. If the devs keep up the pace of fixes, we might have a rough diamond here and in a few months or in a year we might have something special here.

I had a few crocs chase me for 5 minutes to open sea at a point where the island was barely visible. There is something definitely wrong with them. Might have also something to do with desert areas where a milion of crocs is spawning.

They are insane on low desert maps. Ive seen 10 aligators and 5 snakes spawn on 10 square meters.

One of the reason I didnt build a ship yet was exactly the prediction of what happened here, but apart from that losing solid bases on land is a huge bummer and not worth starting over again from literally 0. Will wait for a complete server wipe or when there is a stable version which as we can see is hardly gonna be anytime soon.
