Ok so nothing work for me ... i can die all i want in the freeport i never have the choice to respawn at my bed.. i don't even see my ship or my bed in the map (on the atlas tab) I tried to repair the games files nothing happened ( no dl of the damaged files..) reinstalled completely the game and stil didn't work ... Can a dev look at that? For real how can i just play the game i'm gonna loose all my crew if i can't farm gold to pay them Ok found a fix .. I was not in a company, once at freeport created one and now i see my ships and bed in the atlas map ....

update, i cheked the integrity of the instalation file via steam, and it said that one file was missing, tryed to dl it but the dl never started and then i still have the issue. I will try to die Ok so when i die i got a green scren instead of the map ... gonna try to reinstal the game so

Tonight, i logged in and what was my surprise when i saw that i couldn't interact with anything (i'm on my boat with all my stuff and my npc crew doing their live) when i go near anything that i can interact usualy i don't get the ui saying pres E to interact, same with the ncp. i can't open my inventory neither as it close instantly when i try to open it ... Is this something know? how can i fix this? Ho and when i'm in the lobby of the game i don't have the option to log back on my char i can only join new atlas ...

I play solo on EU PVE i have a brig and almost 10 npc Since saturday and i have still more than 1000 gold even if i didn't farmed any since sunday. i don't know how you can say it's unsustainable for small crew. just do 3 or 4 treasure map one day and you are good for almost the rest of the week. Take fire arrow do kill the npc that guard the chest and enjoy the free gold

The timer are normal now, they were faster before cause the lawless area where listed a home server so the ressources respawn rate were like in freeport. Now they respawn at the same speed as in all other island (claimable ones)

didn't they just put some lawless area cause of the number of ppl trying to connect to the servers on the launch day? in my mind those lawless island where just temporary solution and would become claimable island like all the other after the number of player get stabalised . but that's just my opinion

you really the devs are gonna take some time to do something about particular foundation spammin on particular island?

the purpose of lawless island is almost certainly to offer an opportunity to build a raft and then Sail to another location ... i'm sure they never wanted ppl to stay there forever . and as it is now ppl like me that only want to build a ship and leave (cause lawless server as laggy as fuck btw) and find another place to leave can't even do that as all the island are spammed with foundation and pillar from greedy persons

I'm in the same position as OP, i play alone switched from pvp official to pve official 3 or 4 days ago and i can't find a land to claim. I spent almost all my time running on all the island i put a foot on to see if there is contestable claim. Most of then have the upkeep timer running in negative and still unclaimable, and the few i found that where claimable i didn't work at all... one was in an open area with no building inside and no sleeping ppl neither but yet it told me the claim was contested and the timer never started .... They really need to put a limit on the nomber of claim ppl can do it's getting ridiculous and ppl are too dumb to limit themself to take just what they need .... So now i'm back in lawless area where i was running throught 4 or 5 island before finding just enough place to build 4 foundation ..... Lawless area are totaly garbage, foudation spamming ; shipyard all over the place; laggy as hell cause of all the foundation/shipyard and ship standing here for no reason at all. Reallu hoping they will do something about this but as we saw with ark and pillar spamming i really doubt they will

ok and what happen to all the buildings if suddently the flag owner don't want any one to build in their land anymore and change the setting of the flag?

How is this gonna work? like if i buil my base on a land where the ppl allow other to build on and then suddently they change their mind and don't allow this anymore, am i gonna loose everything?

I don't know how is this possible as yesterday i sailed to 7 or 8 differents island looking for 1 spot to build my base (as i play solo i don't need more than 1 claim) and i couldn't place a fucking flag at all cause all the flag already there has the upkept timer running ... i even saw a bunch of negative timer like -14560 second and still couldn't place a single flag.. What am i missing?
