  1. Same happend to me and my mates. It appears the bug is caused by the fact that the gate tries to snap to the side of a normal stone wall.
  2. I got a simple fix for your server "stability, connection, and data issues", get more servers online to spread the load. The current number of atlas main servers is not enough to support the actual playerbase. Another great idea would be to have different freeport servers e.g. freeport 1 is for players who want to return to hire crew, freeport 2-10 are for new players that want to start playing the game . If a player leaves freeport 2-10 he can only return to freeport 1. As you allready have a cluster system in place that should not be a problem in my opinion. Oh wait that would cost money and of course having money is far better then having properly running servers and players that can actual play the game. Well on the other hand that if you continue the way you are going right now, that will fix the issue as well. You don't need servers if you got nobody playing you game anymore.
  3. I have yet to find a natural water source, been on a dozen islands in different biomes. Honestly i don't understand the design decision that you are able to dig for water but then can't fill you waterskins.
  4. Why are the just 4 Main atlas servers? I would like to have a simple answer from the devs or the mods or anyone that can actually answer that question properly (meaning not telling my it is all about the money). If you break it down you have 2 for each reagion split into 1 for each game mode. Then half the server (at least in eu pvp) is starter area (40+ shards). In my opinion that is just not enough at least for pvp. So lets talk about that considering mainly the pvp server (i have no overview how the situation is on pve as i'm "playing" at eu pvp") The size of the map even just with 12 shards as starter areas does simply not support the current playerbase. Furthermore adding more main servers would decrease the server load for each shard/main server, as well as the stress on the network infastructure, So why are there still only 4 main servers and are more on the way?
  5. The problem is you need to claim land to build stuff including a shipyard for bigger ships. If you can't claim land you can't do shit. I honestly don't understand why they did not put in a restriction on the number of land claims a singe player and a company can have. (This is not taking in consideration the headstar advantage some players have by getting out of the starter areas early, half of the map beeing start area and at least in my opinion not enough islands to support the current playerbase)
  6. Well what do you exspect with just one main server an half of that as starter area? Btw on what shards are you guys so we can maybe find out which shards are affected. I was on j6.
  7. Got the same problem. Was on J6, disconnected 5 hours ago couldn't connect since then. Was in J6. My mates left with a boat and are in another shard now, they were able to reconnect 5 hours ago. Funny enough i got my home region shown, but not my atlas.
  8. Same here disconnected 5 hours ago to restart. Since then same poblem. Shard would be J6.
  9. The first iteration was fine as number of servers goes. There were 12 freeports, now half the map is spawnarea. I just don't understand why they don't add more main worlds. There are still just 4 main atlas worlds 2 pvp 2 pve. That is simply not enough. If you manage to leave the start area you will probably find no place that is unclaimed for some time. If you do manage to get some part on an island on a pvp server you will probably be killed soon after by the players that were ther before you and are level 20+ with better equipment. Or you are lucky and run directly into a galleon crew with several level 40 players. They should get at least 2 more pvp servers for each region (NA and EU) online. Don't know the situation on the pve side. That would cost money sure, but it will help with the server load as well. Furthermore i would suggest to make more freeport instances. As the server system is working on shards i think that should be possible. In that way you could still have just 12 start zones on the map while it maybe are 48 over all. Just close them if they are not needed anymore. However, this would help with 2 problems. One beeing that half the map is a starter area now, which makes no sense at all. Second all new players would still be able to join and play. All in all they still need more main servers.
