Yes, you have 3 days, then they can steal it if no one contests. Takes 6 hours to steal. If you sleep on your claim then it is pretty much safe for 10days of inactivity.

Since the most recent patch Sea claim overlapping seems to be broken again. I am able to place a sea claim and overlap heavily any other sea or land claim without the stealing warning, after 10 mins I took half of someones land. I ripped it up of course to give it back, but others may not be so nice.

Initial patch notes said they were "removing sea claims", a day later it changed to say "Fixing sea claim bugs"... so who knows what is happening.

The same thing is happening on our Island EU PvE, one company placed down sea claims along the coast and in some cases even took some buildings, our flags remained but most of the area now belongs to them. I hope this is fixed in the patch today/tomorrow

Hi all, Just checked outside of our main base on PvE EU and found someone built within our territory 4 behemoth stone gateways and gates... these structures appear to ignore enemy territory claims.... The destruction timer is 2 hours, but can easily be used for griefing and enclosing in peoples bases...

Just tested the same, neighbour placed a new flag, around 16000 second upkeep and ticking down, standing next to him on his new claim...... his other flag is stealable even when he stands on it... wonderful!! another weekend of protecting claims.. gg

So far the ones on our server are trying to reclaim their old bases, but of course others are trying to steal it from them too... at the moment you are doomed if you made a new company.. A roll back now is looking less likely.

The fix worked on our Server, but not for those that made new companies... it broke for them, everyone that did nothing got a fix and back in the original company

It fixed the company issue for me, but the PvE claims are still broken...

Just logged in after patch 9.11, entire company has been kicked including owner. Please roll back and fix... PvE EU

I think people are just frustrated that core systems that are vital to the game and game modes are not working and instead of them being acknowledged and priorited by the devs... they are busy making rafts attackable by ghost ships and other quality of life changes. These types of stealing and glitching issues should be the highest prio. If people lose everything they simply quit and dont bother trying again.

Most new claims have the 3 day protection, the problem is that the upkeep is not refreshing when a company member goes in it, in 3 days you will have the same problem again, combined with the enemy claim overlapping issue it makes it harder and harder to replace flags. We have been circled by sea and land claims overlapping into our land and we can not replace any flags at all

Some of the old flags gor the 3 day protect, when you place a new flag it usually gets the 3 day protection, but not always. The biggest problem is that the protection is not being reset, after 3 days it is claimable again and due to overlapping exploits you cant just pick up the flag and replace it.. as people will have overlapped your claim... meaning you must always have someone either online or sleeping in each and every flag you have to protect it.. Basically it is broken and needs fixing asap. for PvE anyway, never played PvP.

But Thankfully the Devs are working on critical issues atm, like making rafts attackable by Ghost Ships.. that will help everything
