Yeah it's not a lie they though they had fixed the issue .

The best way to tell is to pick up a rock off the ground.. other resource nodes can be random.. the rocks on the ground are fixed I believe.

How do you know berries in this world are not super heavy ? It might just be how it is.

Grapple snaps if player is to heavy.. but I guess they could get lots of people with a bit of weight each to sink the ship..

I quite enjoy sailing around and exploring the world.. don't want it to be to easy maybe increase the amount of points you get like they were planning to do. But they would have to make the extra ones count for the people Woh have already been exploring .. or only apply the increase when they do the first wipe.

It's prob just a bug..

Two months ? Did I miss a month ? Either way it's early access there will be lots of balance patches some that make it to easy for people to destroy buildings and so on.. also there will probably be wipes throughout development.. best not to get attached to anything. You could team up with people who are not in the same time zone giving you a bit of extra cover.

First it was Wolves now its cobras.. quite soon we will just have some teddy bears for PVE combat..

The is not a pirate sim.. its a fantasy mmo that just happens to have some ship combat in it haha.. ok a lot of ship combat but its a fantasy game so can have fantasy elements..

People have done this from the start

At the moment yeah it sucks a bit but it's still early in development. I am not against the idea of your character getting old really.. having places like the fountain of youth will create PvP hot spots now and then we all know that's a good thing. Problem is the zones they currently have them in suck.. the mobs there are just not balanced and 1 shot everyone and are very hard to kill So yeah the system has a lot of work.

It's normal for early access titles to lose a lot of players. It will settle down to the people Woh are ok testing EA games and are enjoying the game. People will come back for large updates and leave again after. Nearly all EA games are like this.

Ark was a different type of game.. this is an mmo and there should be wipes.. but then again you could be right.

I think this patch was crazy but everyone here complaining how it's not fair they have spent hours and hours doing things.. Well I got some bad news there will probably be quite a few wipes through development and everything will be gone so those hours and hours are wasted anyway as you will have to start from scratch.

Lol wow ok this entire patch is a bit stupid really... From the need of organic paste to construct stone lol to the silly idea of making smaller ships doing no damage to larger ones when ramming . Sure reduced damage but no damage is just stupid.

Nope it's how early access goes. We are at the stage after all the hype people have left and only the people who really enjoy the game and want to help test are still here. Will probably stay about the same now maybe drop a bit more and only jump up when they release major updates.. will then drop back down.. Standard for early access really.

@OP you know what it's ok not every game is for everyone.. myself I hate the dark souls games the bore the hell out of me.. we are all different and that's what's good about the world.

It's a fantasy mmo with boats.. if you want a age of sale type sim look at naval action..

It's not a democracy they own and run the game.. if they chose to ban someone for being racist or cheating then that's up to them. Players should not do things like that.

At the moment the fountain of youth is the first implementation of the aging system and currently the only way to get younger.. they will be adding more to the system as the game develops.
