  1. But... but... the dev's said if you don't drop a flag every 10 meters, you can't WIN!!!! https://map.playatlas.com/
  2. Mine are stuck in buildings. On a ship, just lower and raise the anchor tnd they'll pop up.
  3. 1. If they announce a wipe, players who've quit will come back in a massive flood. 2. Let's assume you're right that only 3k keep playing. That's 3,000 players / 16 freeports = 187.5 players per freeport. Need I say more?
  4. A wipe? Fresh start? Seriously??? Ok, I'm going to guess one of two things here. Either your suffering from alzheimer's or you weren't here on day one. The last thing this dev team needs right now is a repeat performance of the game's launch.
  5. Right, here's the problem with that methodology, The pilot flies it, the mechanic fixes it and the stewardess assists customers. Right now, our pilot is blind and flying any general direction he chooses. The mechanic has no manuals on how the plane was built so he's trying to fix things by guessing at what the pilot busted. And the stewardess? She's been replaced by an automaton that stands in the aisle and keeps repeating, "thanks for your patience."
  6. You're lucky that didn't result in udder destruction. Seriously though. I've got 3 bears stuck in floors and 1 has been for 3 weeks. I refuse to rip up my floors yet again. If I finally get sick of looking at bear, I'll blunderbuss his ass.
  7. The following is a collection of known links to unofficial Atlas fan sites and utilities. If there is a website I have not listed or have missed some info regarding a site, please post a reply and I'll add it. Sites Atlas Calculator - A skill tree calculator. - Added 2/23/19 Atlas Trade Helper System - Forum Link - A small web application to assist traders in finding other traders. - Added 2/23/19 Atlas Map Web Application - Forum Link - A dynamic Atlas map showing a variety of details including players per server. - Added 2/23/19 Atlas Public Stockade - Forum Link - Uses the public Atlas ban list to display Steam info about those banned from Atlas. - Added 2/23/19 Tools A-CALC Taming & Companion Tools - Forum Link - Android tool to assist in taming. - Added 2/23/19 ArkPnt - Updated for Atlas. 8. Every town has it's village idiot. It's an immutable law of physics.
  9. Which proves what? BTW, atlas info is not an official site.
  10. No, as usual, those are numbers you just made up in your warped head to prove your point.
  11. Which again reveals that by cherry-picking your comparisons you can get charts to say what you want. Like dem apples? (wow, that was the lamest comeback ever)
  12. You were not comparing apples to apples. Do I need to post my chart of Atlas vs No Man's Sky again? Charts and graphs are relative. You can make them display anything you want by manipulating the way the chart is laid out and you can furthermore create exactly what you want to show by cherry-picking the comparisons, which you obviously did. Furthermore, charts only show the past trends, they do not predict the future.
  13. I'm currently working with a guy who I'm going to give a waterfront claim to. Once myself and the neighbors are comfortable that he's not an asshat or a griefer, I'll demolish the claim I'm allowing him to build on with no problem. This benefits my company, our neighbors and allies and the guy who's building on the claim. We all get a good neighbor (we hope), he gets a claim of his own that ensures his hard work can't be taken away, and we get tax collection from the inland claims he'll be farming. Hoarding claims isn't the only option. While the dev's may consider claim count a 'win', hoarding claims has so far generated enough animosity toward the system that the devs are going to change it. And IF the changes still allow hoarding, the complaints will continue to pile up until something drastic is done. Unless land owners, like you and myself, come up with a viable solution that gives players what they want while still achieving the goals we as land owners want, the devs will be forced to ram something down our throats. And what they come up with will likely be much less palatable that the solution we come up with. So, I suggest you approach this like a business. If they're already on your claims, you have a captive audience. Make them happy by giving them a claim, raise the taxes and you create a monopoly where everyone is happy (mostly). Or should I say happier?
  14. Tips: Press M to bring up the map - hold the right mouse button to focus on the compass + hold ctl to bring up a camera + left click the mouse to take a picture. They're saved as Ark .pnt files in \ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings Don't ever try to make a helpful post because @Realist will HAVE to sabotage it.
  15. Just one question, and this is PVE oriented. Knowing the lack of content in this game tell me, if you limit the number of claim flags by person or by company, what will the end goal of this game be? It's less than 2 months old and the 'end game content' has already been done by some.
  16. Wait, they still make those joke double headed coins? He's clearly stated he has some grudge against Wildcard but he refused to go into details. Bullshit! Now you're trying to make us believe you really want to play this game? Bullshit!
  17. Tilting on windmills. And this is just in the past 4 hours.
  18. You obviously don't understand him. He is Don Quixote. He does not see this game for what it is and refuses to do so. Instead, he imagines himself as some knight in shining armor chasing dragons, which are nothing more than windmills. Whether he's trying to extract vengeance for something Wildcard did to him personally or whether he, like the Man of La Mancha has simply lost his sanity is irrelevant. Because, unlike the heroic hidalgo, this knight errant has his mind set on destruction rather than salvation. Anyone who makes a positive post, he will blindly ignore because it doesn't further his goals. He has no desire to improve this game or help it succeed. He's hoping it burns to the ground. He will attempt to mask this burning hatred by quoting irrelevant stats. He will regurgitate opinions of of others without forming his own. He will make comparisons to Ark as if we didn't know those comparisons exist and then claim Atlas is a failure because of it. He is on a crusade where logic is irrelevant and only his hatred matters. His target is Grapeshot and he's using your opinion as his weapon. Until you hate Grapeshot as much as he does and quit the game, he won't stop and he doesn't give a damn about collateral damage.
  19. As far as I can tell, you're the only one fanning flames without reason. Then again, some people just want to watch the world burn.
  20. A. Bitching is not a weapon. And if you haven't gotten an answer then that IS your answer. B. It's not about what you know or how loud you can scream, it's about what you can prove. Collect hard evidence, not... he one shotted me. Show me a video of one guy getting shot repeatedly and not dying. Show me a video of your 20 man team getting laid out all by the same guy in the space of 10 minutes... and not being naked when you are shot. C. I quit playing CS many years ago before Steam created VAC because of aimbots. And I loved it.
  21. Then you should have supposed the serious one as well. Now, are you going to provide solid proof or just point fingers?
