  1. People just get around your survival aspect of the game by just placing a bed and kill themselves, they just respawn and get all their stuff back without no consequences except a timer. I'm not sure how to go about punishing these types of players but if it really comes down to it whats the point in having survival aspects if they can just abuse? Maybe you could make the loot despawn and at a quicker rate? This is intended to be a survival mmo, i get those people who may say "its not fun to keep having different types of food for vitamins" but it makes it harder and makes it so it isn't just pvp or pve you have to worry about. This is just a suggestion and people can have their own opinion just don't go in on me about the game already "being hard" as it clearly states this is a survival mmo. Friendly opinions are welcome, please be as objective as possible.
  2. They said they will be releasing the Atlas dev kit in the description of the game on steam. I'm assuming you'll have to wait sometime until they release it as they seem to be tied up with fixing performance issues etc. which is understandable. As for hosting you can just buy hosting from a number of sources by searching atlas hosting in google.com, you can only modify the map atm Also here is some more information on hosting from the community manager himself: https://www.playatlas.com/index.php?/forums/topic/3498-unofficial-dedicated-server-info/
  3. It's supposed to freeze, it takes awhile to load in.
  4. I'm sorry to inform you sir but this is a mmo.
  5. Do us all a favor and wait 2 years for the full release whilst everyone else is having fun. thanks, Lemur
  6. +1 I agree, there is no need to have bodies. I see why it is good for a pvp aspect but it surely is causing some issues.
