Hunted both species with our schooner 2 days ago. D13 - D15. Our base is in D11.

Even so, if the game is a success, the final whistle won't be for years yet.  During that time, people will come in, play out their entire adventure and then leave for other games.  Companies will rise then fall, rise again, etc.    Do your friends always expect to be the first one into a game?  It seems so weird to be in early EA and people are thinking it's too late to get into the game.

And it's not even the first whistle.  It's the pre-game warmup.  

In my case, I chose PVE in Atlas because I am not active enough for PVP. But I watch the player numbers on all servers and just think about how to get some movement back in the game. I'm very open to other suggestions.

Are you honestly saying the servers are low pop because there hasn't been a wipe in the last 4 months?

I have a few friends who would start playing on official servers if all the players had the same effort in front of them. Right now it's an introduction to an advanced game. It's like getting into a soccer game just before the final whistle. There are no efforts, tension, setbacks and experiences of progress.

It's already a great game for me. It's very positive when a game is constantly evolving and never reaches Done status. It's just a bit boring when the hoped-for dynamic between players doesn't happen due to lack of players.  More players = More dynamics = More fun ... No matter if PVP or PVE.

You could wipe the official servers on a planned date and do a lot of advertising until then:
Video Adds on Insta
Add on YouTube
...

The first setup is the really exciting one ... We only harvest the current beds, jump once on each boat so that it is not despawned and then we go offline again .... 

So why not do some great advertising and set everything to 0 again? Maybe that'll bring growth again in terms of player numbers and especially playing time.

We haven't had time for colours yet ...

The castle's still in the works. A lot of details are still missing ... but we are in no hurry. It wouldn't fit to the game, if you would reach everything immediately

Already tried to switch ober to PvP or pve ? Just Join new without creating a new char. Then switch back

I completely disagree.  If you don't want to spend so much time on the water, maybe you shouldn't choose a pirate game.

Confirmation is still pending. Confirmed is: Currently you don't even have to try ....

Is there a current guide somewhere?  How many ships/people do you currently need?

3 older but active pirates are interested. Have several briggs and thousands of hours of experience in Atlas and Ark, but haven't seen the final in Atlas yet. Whales and high treasures we have been making all the time. But no hurry

Same here. I am allowed to lower my elevator for 4 lenght ... then stuck on half height

Does that mean you leave PvE offline and deploying only on the PvP servers? Or would you stick to announcing the Small Tribes Server? You can also convert PvE directly to Small Tribes. I hope there's enough community left to fill up Small Tribes Server.
