It works again, thanks for fixing this issue so fast Atlas Dev Team

This is good to know now, but what are peeps supposed to do now who are experiencing this issue? The only options are to connect to a new server or to create a new character.

I have just today experienced the same issue while sailing along the Islands at M11, trying to find a nice place to build a shipyard - and of course I got killed near my raft while exploring So far I couldn't even find a spot to build a shipyard it is so crowded, but thats ok, exploring is fun too... But having to start over yet again because I can't respawn on my bed on a PvE server because of a PvP mechanic, hmm - I'll try again tomorrow morning, but I do hope this issue will be solved in the future! I like the gameplay of Atlas so far, so many new things to see and to learn - coming from Ark, I am sure this will be a great adventure

Same here, I actually had a better ping joining a NA server this morning, could be that many people were in bed in NA by the time I joined though The EU servers I joined this morning were unplayable because of lag in the Freeports, I am sure the devs and server admins are working hard to fix the issue though...
