  1. Try checking this program out: I use this on my 5x5 and it has been absolutely amazing, i do not have to do anything other than turn it on. The program also handles updates, etc automatically.
  2. I ran them on a single machine for a day then wiped them and spread them across the other 4 nodes.
  3. I currently run a 5x5 map on 4 dedicated machines. The map shows perfectly fine in the "M" menu, all of my ports are open/forwarded, people can transfer between grids without a hitch, the only issue i am having is that whenever you go to collect a treasure bottle, it'll say you collected it but when you open your inventory, nothing is there. The only maps we get is from the current grid. I've tried re-exporting the map files, clearing the map cache, adding the slippery maps, hosting the map files, running the map files locally, changing seamless data ports for each server, and everything else i could think of. All of the servers are online so i don't understand what could be causing the issue. The servers are communicating with redis or else we would not be able to travel between servers as well. Any ideas/help would be great.
  4. I don't think the processors will be your bottleneck, i'd worry more about the ram in the system than anything. I have a c6220 with 8x xeon 2670 v2's (2.5ghz, 3ghz turbo) with 384gb of ram. The way i have mine set up is in 4 individual nodes. each node has 2x processors and 96gb of ram dedicated to it. I run a 5x5 across those 4 machines and i'm only using 9% cpu but i'm hitting 20% ram usage on 6 shards(per node). So judging from my experience, if you're looking for something that can host bigger than 3x3 then i'd look for more ram.
