Seven times I've now been in the situation that I've died / respawn / been forced to recreate my character (regardless of action taken to prevent). I've lost my Company, my gear and my bed spawn. My company mates are now many many levels beyond me and don't really want to come back and help at this point because it's happen so many times and it's a pain to try and help at this stage. I understand that it's an EA game, which is technically a beta, but when you force players to pay for the privilege to test your game for you you take on a measure of responsibility. Part of that responsibility is that when a major bug crops up you do your best to fix it and aid the players affected by it with some form of compensation be it levels, gear, coin, etc. Someone asked me if I felt entitled to support for a beta game.... yeah, I do. Money was spent. Regardless of what stage the game is at, you the company have a responsibility to the customers to compensate when things go seriously wrong. In my case, as in the case of many others according to what I've been reading, is the repeated loss of levels, gear, bed spawn ability and fellow players in a formed Company. Here is what I personally have lost... Level 1 to Level 9 (about 2/3 deep into level) - Dead/Respawn/Forced Recreate. Lost levels, gear, company and bed spawn. (Char name Kal Jaxa)(death by drowning) Level 1 to Level 8 - Dead/Respawn/Forced Recreate. Lost levels, gear, company and bed spawn for a second time. (Char name Kal Jaxa)(Death by Snake) Level 1 to Level 5 - Dead/Respawn/Forced Recreate. Lost levels, gear, company and bed spawn again. (Char name Kal Jaxa)(Changed several things in looks)(Death by Croc) Level 1 to 3 - Dead/Respawn/Forced Recreate. Lost levels, gear, company and bed spawn. (Char name Kal Jaxa)(Changed several things in looks including gender)(Death by drowning) Level 1 to 4 - Dead/Respawn/Forced Recreate. Lost levels, gear, company and bed spawn. This time forced to respawn in middle of map while rest of company, after many hours of piloting raft managed to claim island which I can no longer get to at all because you folks set up that ridiculous buffer zone initially that forced everyone to move two full "servers" (don't get me started on the server thing, very bad implementation going on their...Should have added a dozen more region servers instead of expanding landing zones) away from FPs. Level 1 - Currently on hold while I decide if I'm still going to play the game or if I'm going to advise my viewers to avoid the game and the company in general.(Char name Kalcindra Jaxa) Yeah, I'm a streamer and quite honestly not happy with the way this launch was handled. I've been a GM for a game company in the past and I was a professional beta tester before the whole EA craze started and for me to say this launch was handled was horrifically says a lot. This was bungled from top to bottom, though I admit I've seen worse and do appreciate that you are trying to stay on top of it. So, what do I expect/want? Simple. 1) I'd like the bug to be fixed right away because it's affecting a fair number of people as far as I can tell and should be considered a priority. 2) I'd like to have my original lost 8 levels returned plus half of the XP earned on all the other incarnations I was forced to take. It's not an unreasonable request since we paid for game. 3) If the levels can not or will not be returned then I still want #1 AND I want it to be fair to all and have all the servers wiped so everyone starts fresh and no one has any advantage. Not to mention with all the bugs and stuff it couldn't hurt to wipe it clean and see what new bugs pop up. Thanks, Kal Jaxa

I had the same issue this morning. I was level 9, died, forced to recreate character, lost leadership (and membership) of my own Company and can't even get logged back in after the fact. Please tell me that we are going to get out levels back, that we haven't wasted the 20 odd hours of play, that you are going to fix this ridiculous bug sooner then later, and that you are going to add more actual region servers instead of blocking out build capability in the Lawless zones...that last act alone is forcing us to spend 7+ hours on rafts trying to get to the first island that might might be able to plant a flag on. These types of errors on dev's part are the kind of things that make a game D.O.A. Please don't let that happen to this game. Thanks.
