  1. @Sturmberg Would believe it if they actually did a single thing that made the game more fun. They keep addind grind gates instead. It's like the people in charge don't even play games.
  2. Le bump. Added the placable lanterns that can use most things for fuel.
  3. Even the forums are crawling to a halt.. Time to call it?
  4. Still going strong! Added mods to regen ships while they are anchored, and the lighting items with fuel slots. Server has all the the, merchants, ghostship, and kraken.
  5. 4*4 with a interesting map. No stoneaging, no offline raiding. Choose to be civilian, no PvP. Everyone Else, Black Sails/Flags = able to PvP and raid other Black Sails. 30 slots per grid. Increased rates, but not too high. Discord - https://discord.gg/ytSQJC
  6. Thank you for this! Been trying to setup my Atlas server sice friday, finally got it to work with the help of this tool. Now run a nice 4*4 map on my Amd 3960. :) Rant: Not sure what it is, but I were getting the couldn't join my own server issues, nobody could see it issues, etc. With this it just started working after I let it be up overnight, maybe I keep missing the same stuff, but have had the same problem with Ark before. The wierd thing is, that after leaving it up overnight, my Ark servers usually start working too.. :P Really slow propagation of ports in my router maybe? Would be fun to figure out what I keep missing, so I won't tear my hair next time. Will probarly try to setup Ark again after next expansion, lol. Gone over and followed threads to the letter, and still it's the can see server, but can't join server, then, I can join, but nobody else, then all of a sudden, it's working. But still, for the longest time, some people can't join, unless they add me as a friend in steam, and are able to grab the server and add it into favourites in Steam. Direct connect will not work for theese friends, but having the server under the favourites tab in Steam enables them to see the games in the ingame browser.. It's a wierd issue. Also wondering, all those people that try to setup their own servers, but can't get it to work, if they should just leave them running for a couple of hours, is there anything ingame/server wise, browser/routers etc, that could take that long to propagate? It is strange that both Ark and Atlas have this same issue. But, thanks again for this tool, one question, if dev stops on it, will future Atlas upgrades break it, or should it be a-ok?
  7. So true this +100. It's like they seriously don't know what fun is in a game.
  8. They still don't get that the reason people got this was because of ship battles and pirates ho! gameplay? Hilarious..
  9. Yeah, theese devs development tactic doesn't make much sense, if you look at Ark now, the team there now make updates that make sense. It's like this group are gluttons for pain.
  10. Lulzwhat? Having admin account compromised is very common in EA games, and has to do with it being in EA? Please tell me thats not what you mean. 0_o
  11. Yeah, you'd think they would have learned something from DnL and PixArk..
  12. You are wrong, and you will sell more copies by catering to solo players. Otherewise, hello DnL and PixArk 2.0.
  13. Another thing that wasn't broken, but they fixed it for you.. Seriously devs, are you sure you're not the guys from DnL and PixArk, because you keep doing the same wierd stuff as those teams!?
  14. Its things like theese that makes games like this so awesome. Too bad about all the crap though. They need to plain rip out the skill tree and start over, same thing with the claim workings.
  15. Well, what they did in DnL and PixArk killed the game and stopped future sales, making them no money. Where on earth is that a wise business idea? They literarly refused to listen to the point of killing the source of their income. That should worry customers, buyers and employees. It literarly makes no sense.
  16. Yeah, I mean, why cater to more people to actually sell more copies, to make more money. I dont understand the business idea here..
  17. Yeah, ARK had some questionable ideas for gameplay, think NerdParade did a really nice video about it. They didn't have to fix things the way they did, the meta could have stayed Dinosaurs! but, nope. The ground idea for Atlas is pretty darn nice, but the implementation is a wierd one, and this game will only be filled with Alpha Companies controlling the server. The sad thing is, how do you control a map/server? Simple, fill it with 150 people, and it's yours. Though, I don't get it, cater to more people, you make more sales, and more money, isn't that what any company wants? Why such a limited scope, when with just a few tweaks, people would be throwing their money at the game. Just like Pixark and Dark & Light, so many wasted interesting foundations squandered. PixArk could have become the new PokeMon like game, sold in millions, with just a few tweaks anyone can imagine if they just look at it for a few minutes. Not sure who's in charge of this, death needs to be a part of games like this, but there is no reason you couldn't make it interesting and fun, instead of a frustration and a grind, for example.
  18. This is ark 4.5, look at the files. That means it has all the glorious bugs it had back then too. Rubberbanding was fixed for example, 9 months later?
