How dare you good sir. Even if there are toxic kids on console we should definitely blame that whole deal on the fact that today’s parenting as a majority is very piss poor. My son with not play a mature game until he is of age, mainly because I am not a bad parent(yes, I am saying that anyone that lets a child play mature games especially under the age of 14 is a very bad parent ). there are so many horrible people in this world that just keep contributing to the swamp that it is not even funny. the only games I have played on pc were sim farm, C&C, TA Kingdoms, and WoW. All at different times of my life of course but I have very mainly been a co sole player this whole time. Btw this was in order. this post was in no way an attack on you and please don’t think that it is. Just more about the whole leftist crap that goes on. It is very sad to say the least. I am having a blast with co sole and haven’t actually met one bad person. You know what? Scratch that. I don’t play pvp so in all reality I can’t say how bad console players act in an offline raiding environment. I will change this to purely speculation as far as pvp goes. as far as my personal experience goes with pve I haven’t met one yet. Check this. I was saving beds on islands while I was exploring for others in my co pant to get the discovery point later on. We actually had a company from one of the islands that were 7 grids away that left a message for us saying “hey, we need to remove the bed. Just letting you know” that is paraphrased of course but yeah, things are awesome. guess I just don’t want to be a anymore. none of this was aimed towards you btw D. Just going on a tangent to be honest. My damn wife is watching some chick flick on Netflix right now so I will take this out on someone while I am waiting to sail the 7 seas. Hopefully you understand

I was wondering why there were so many shipyards. It’s like just build one ship release it and then build another one in the shipyard. Smh. Guess people need to build 10 at a time instead of 10 in a row

I think it is mainly people that have not played ark or this type of survival game before. Just a couple of days ago we adopted a new guy and this was his first survival game. he said he really likes this type of genre but he was pretty much aimlessly wandering around when he found us lol. i am glad I have been on the forums as long as I have been as well as being an ark veteran because I pretty much hit the ground running and have been having fun ever since. it will really all come down to if the veteran players want to be helpful or dicks to new players. They can read a tutorial all they want but if they are shown what to do and put it to practice then they will retain a lot more of the information. p.s. The new guy is doing just fine now lol Not cool Which bring us to ark. There were shark in both ark and atlas but yet you could drink from the ocean in ark so how did the sharks and other fish survive? Lol

Pvp or pve?

@Jatheish @Dollie can you shed a little light on this. As far as server/grid limits as well as global/whole atlas limits?

Yeah if a mega company is simply just a big company now then yes. From ark a mega was a conglomerate of many alpha tribes that formed alliances to become a mega tribe. if that is the case him saying a mega is on there could mean that there are 10 different companies all allied together and if they all maxed their company tame limit there would be 3000 tames on the one server. Which is just an example of course. not sure if the term mega has changed since ark but then a mega was multiple groups coming together

Yeah pve is way better lol. This game is pretty awesome really. No complaints yet except the damn npcs firing at everything. Oh well not a big issue. I’ll just kill them if I have to. there is literally no better feeling than knowing that when you wake up that you can pick back up where you left off. i can only imagine how crappy this game is with pvp lol. Probably wouldn’t bother with it if it was pvp only really. i can actually take the time to enjoy the scenery or “stop to smell the roses” so to speak. Still a really fun ride and we haven’t even bothered finishing our floating base galleon yet. Just taking our time and having fun. Awesome Nah, he has been that way since January but I am pretty sure the guy was talking about the whole time lol

There has to be a server limit even if the devs haven’t said it. There was always a tame limit on ark servers and not because the devs wanted it that way. A server can only hold so much.

I would be fine with them not shooting at every fish in the ocean. Or me for that matter. Sometime when I am swimming I hear a shot go off and a splash and when I turn around I see them aiming the cannon else where like it wasn’t them that shot at me. next time I do a sunken ship one lucky cannoneer is going to distract the sharks for me.

Yeah I think console is limited to certain. Things. From what I have seen I am not seeing every possibility that pc has. It’s all good though. If they keep acting up they just won’t make it to the fountain of youth if you know what I mean lol.

Yeah my buddies kept laughing because I kept cussing out those npc’s for wasting our cannonballs during my days of sea of thieves it was a pretty fun ride too lol I try to make every experience worthwhile

Yeah still trying to figure it out. The weird part is they have been on the cannons for over a week and just barely yesterday they started doing that. Came as a very unfortunate surprise lol

Ah ok. From the cannon itself. What’s happens when I change it back so they fight the SoTD though? Are they going to start shooting tunas again? this problem literally only started today. Before they were fine and only shot at the damned when we told them to. really wandering what’s going on because even though your solution is a quick fix the damned are neither tamed creatures nor pathfinders. edit: thanks for the quick fix though. Oh damn. That is good to know. Luckily I have not built in pillars but wow. I don’t blame that guy for being pissed though. I feel his pain. this will be a good lesson learned that I was able to learn from someone else. That is always the best lesson learned.

Not pc, and I do not have those options edit: I have the wheel. Set behavior and so forth. Nothing says tames or what not. I have neutral, aggressive, passive, attack your target and so forth.

Well after you saying something awesome like that I think it is very important to know if it was J3 or I3. Please let me know once you are sure of that grid.

Yeah, I went to my first power stone island and sugar was basically tea bagging the 100 plus animals there, so yeah once we can breed and get the god tames we will definitely be good

Yes you can. You can definitely zoom into any bed you want. I currently have somewhere around 200 beds spread throughout the atlas and I can spawn to any of the beds I choose. Make sure that the big yellow outline is on the map. Then use the right stick to sway back and forth. Once the right stick doesn’t move to your location you need to zoom in closer and then you will be able to move closer to your desired position via the right stick. it is very much possible

Rather you are pve or pvp how well do you work as a company? the 3 main members(myself included) have our own agendas but we work well together. One is a base builder, one is a ship builder, and I am an explorer for atlas sake. Now, when I get on they already know to stop what they are doing and it’s tome to explore. Not because I am the boss but because I have about 2 days a week to play and they have every day to do what they want. This is very respectable behavior. Once they see me get on they get butt naked and they have already transferred to our exploration ship before I even spawn in. at the same time if I get on and they happen to be offline, I automatically spawn where they were and start grinding to fill up their boxes for there projects. do you guys work well with each other? Not a competition, just wondering how things are going with you guys.

Yeah they are going to be walking the plank pretty soon if they keep that crap up. with us they are doing it regardless of Freeport/lawless/owned islands. bunch of jerks to be honest. I mean we are paying them after all. They have food and gold so they are just being dicks at this point. Haven’t pulled out the guillotine yet but I’ll let you know how that goes. They are about 20 cannonballs shy of getting a high and tight in a very medieval way lol

Oh I won’t let these assholes touch our sails. One of my buddies is the sail guy and the other is the captain. I am the navigator. the best our crew can hope for is being a cannoneer or handy man. We are thinking about getting an entertainer soon which will be a very big promotion lol.

Man, these guys are just randomly shooting at in the water. I changed their behavior to attack your target instead of neutral but that didn’t work. I now have to take out all of the cannon balls out of our ammo box because these A$$holes just keeping shooting at the water. getting ready to make them walk the planks if they keep wanting to pull this . Not sure what is going on but I do know that I do not like my crew anymore. About to be some dead mother $&@“ers pretty soon.

Grapeshot themselves might not do that but a modder will surely do it. I can’t remember the mod group that made the app for ark but I am sure they or someone else will do it. Somehow it actually worked for official servers.

NA PVE. As far as what grid goes that is changing every 30 minutes or so grinding out discovery points so I don’t know where I will be in the next hour.
