Just posting an update to this: I submitted a support ticket, and after 5 days was told that nothing would be done about it, even though its a simple dev command to fix this problem. I also attempted to respec to fix the problem and lost the 11 levels I had worked for, getting pushed back to lv 54. Seems absurd that such a simple problem cant be solved in almost a week. This game badly need active GMs. Its the primary reason why people are leaving for private servers.

So today I logged into my character and a significant chunk of my XP was gone. It didnt change my level, which would obviously be impossible given the amount of XP it shows... All my discovery points and skill/stat points are still there. Not sure what has happened here.
