  1. Video guide to access the FOY at M12. The cave entrance is near a beach at the south-west part of the island:
  2. I'm looking at this from a gamedesign point of view. Diving suit, 50 fortitude, Advanced Water Temperature Fortitude skill. That's close to the best you can do to push your insulation while under water. If you do all this, should you still die within less than a minute? Is that fun? Well, dying usually isn't. Is that challenging? Not really, no, since there is no way to overcome the challenge. You can't do better, no matter how hard you try. Thus it crosses the fine line from being challenging to being frustrating. Taking all that into account one has to ask the final question if that is good game design.
  3. Fire arrows need to be removed from the game. They can't be fixed. PVP in this game means naked players strafejumping using bows and fire arrows 90% of the time. Almost all griefing is done with fire arrows.
  4. Diving suit, 50 fortitude, Advanced Water Temperature Fortitude skill. Time it takes from full health (115 HP) until death: ~50 seconds. Is this really working as intended?
  5. Thanks for your reply, Caldrin. I had received a total of 4 points of damage until that last hit that did 116 damage. The 4 points came from two arrow hits by the swimmer that was chasing me in the water. I know that there were two players at the beach, almost out of render distance. Until now I thought that the hit that killed me was from an arrow, fired by the guy in the water that already had hit me two times. I thought that maybe he had used the skill "Piercing Shot" on me, but when I tested that with some teammates of mine, we were not able to deal more than about 50 damage with a headshot from a bow and that skill. So if there's no other way for the swimmer to deal that much damage, then that would mean that one of the guys from the beach must have headshoted me with a carbine. That would either have been a "one in a million" shot or an aimbot. I'm still open for other explanations.
  6. Hi, I just got instagib'ed in PVP on official servers and wonder what ingame skill was used to do that. I'm not even mad (would have died anyway). I just want to know how the other player did that:
