  1. I have irrigation for a rooftop garden, and extended a pipe through the ceiling down a wall. The grill would attach to the ceiling, clipping inside the reservoir, but would not lock to the single pipe I had put in just for that purpose. One would expect the behavior to be to connect to the pipe you are placing the grill on, not the ones on the roof or elsewhere.
  2. Hello. Grill irrigation is next to impossible, it is a bear to lock the grill to the pipe. If you have a pipe in place the grill will only lock in sideways, making it impossible to hide pipes or center the grill. Can this be revisited and make it easier and more aesthetic to place?
  3. Like it or not, in this age of Internet grammar and spelling, I always made my children use complete words, proper punctuation, complete sentences and correct spelling. I think they benefited from it. They look at Internet grammer as more of a joke than the way to type.
  4. How do you tame the Grand Tortugar? Our company wants one just to try the new creature for ourselves.
  5. You are entitled to provide constructive criticism which is a very useful part of feedback. If you read the post I replied to however, you will see that he uses the word 'I' as if he alone were entitled to the innermost thoughts on the dev's processes. He then assumes to know what the dev's are thinking(false information), and calls the new content 'crap'. This is not feedback, it is snarky, a complaint. It contains no useful information, and the tone is snarky rather than constructive, again, a complaint. An entitled, insulting, snarky complaint like so many self-entitled Internet tough typers. My argument is far from misguided. The forums are for 'bugs, exploits, suggestions, experiences, and observations.' You are entitled to accurately describe an issue that is not to your liking. In a constructive, polite and informative manner. That is called 'feedback'. The forums have become a haven for keyboard warriors, individuals who use tough, inflammatory rhetoric in an attempt to draw attention. One is not, in fact, entitled to be rude, to berate, insult or provide crap posts full of nothing but snark and immaturely expressed displeasure. The post that I replied was one of those posts. Grapeshot owes you no explanations about their process of development. They may address the community about an issue if they wish, but you, as an individual are not entitled to anything except being able to play the game you purchased under the early access agreement. You have that, and by your own words, have been playing it quite a bit. Polite discussion and constructive, well expressed, polite feedback is almost always welcome
  6. My friend, your post is full of what *you* want and assumptions that *you* know what is on the minds of Grapeshot's devs. Then you call new content crap, which is your opinion. You then assume to tell folks what Grapeshot "thinks". Your post and the tone of it is presumptuous, snarky and entitled. As is your attempt to insult and turn my words back on me. As for authority, you're correct, I don't. I fail to see where you would assume I do, other than the fact that I can actually type complete sentences. Next time, please try to provide neutral, non-snarky input. Otherwise known as 'feedback'. Feedback also includes information, screenshots, steps to replicate an issue, system information, driver information and more, not just attitude ridden comments. Otherwise known as 'complaints'.
  7. They never replied due to the fact that you are not owed anything by them. When it is ready, they will add it. I prefer them actually working on a feature rather than caving to users who feel they are owed. I am glad they are taking their time and trying to minimize impact. Oh, and kudos on the "yet another attitude ridden complaint" post. You don't like how it is or where it is going? Leave. Play something else. That simple. Don't come here trying to look tough and cool by using inflammatory style posting. At the very least be unique, show some intelligence, and be constructive.
  8. I wonder if they could implement a deed purchase system? You can sell a deed to people who you think will be okay on your island. If they don't have a deed, their structures decay in 6 hours, if they do, 4 days. Deed can be refunded at any time provided the owner has the gold. Tenant has 24 hours to remove stuff they want, then the owner can destroy any structures or let them decay in 6 hours after that. This includes ships/shipyards. @Jatheish I know our company was always OCD about removing our crap on lawless islands and other players' lands.
  9. Or: I wonder if they could implement a deed purchase system? You can sell a deed to people who you think will be okay on your island. If they don't have a deed, their structures decay in 6 hours, if they do have a deed, 4 days. Deed can be refunded at any time provided the owner has the gold for a refund. Tenant has 24 hours to remove stuff they want, then the owner can destroy any structures or let them decay in 6 hours after that. This includes ships/shipyards.
  10. Agreed, Lawless islands were a huge, laggy mess of crap that wasn't removed by the owners, pillars, foundations. How about the player purchase a deed from the island owner that unlocks a longer decay time, with items built on land without a deed decaying in 6 hours. That should be long enough to trap and tame. Island owner can rescind the deed at any time and has 24 hours to destroy the structures of a toxic player whose deed has been taken away. Owner must have enough gold to refund the deed.
  11. Originally by @CoopedUp: I like this, a lot. To add to #1, the ability to 'evict' should include an option to destroy all of that company's structures, and automatically add them to the blacklist. I seriously think you are onto something here, and hope the devs see this. @Jatheish

  13. Absolutely. Tame in the wild rather than a trap. I would gladly adhere to a no-build rule for someone's island. Better yet, tame what you have on your island and trade for what you don't have.
