From your perspective it might look like aimbotting sure. See it from his perspective. He probably just climbed up and sat on one of those gates with a Carbine and sniped you as you were swimming around like a duck in perfect weather conditions. Not hard to hit a slow mowing target when this game have hitdetection and no bullet drop or traveltime. For easier understanding: He points at your head with a Carbine, shoot, you will be dead before you hear the sound.

LuL Gold Useless? Gold is the largest sink and you can never have enough. To operate our Harbor and base defenses, man our boats, upgrade our gear and trade other materials for Mythic designs etc we spent thousand of gold every day. But yeaa I can imagine gold being useless on PvE servers, but well you are playing minecraft with fancier graphic so competitive endgame is out of your game.

Be weary with your tames. I took my wolfpack out (4 x lvl 55+ wolves mate boosted) together with a lvl 50 and 40 Lion to test against an Alpha Giant Snake. The snakes cone AoE got my wolves and soon they were knocked out and consumed for full HP Snake. Tried to call back the last 2 wolves but wolves have a hard time following commands and keep re-engaging. All wolves died but the Lions survived. Was a fun test. The pack could, before their death, battle all Neutral alphas. The Aggressuve Snake ended their glory. This was pre patch. Dont be to upset about loosing tames, easy to tame new ones If Alphas bother you, just shoot 2 Fire arrows on the ground infront of it and it dies.

You are suggesting military tactics in role play scenarios. That is sadly not how PvP and sieges works in this game. We could have a long disicussion about this but it will not change the what is wrong with fire arrows. The problem is the ground fire dmg does heavy % dmg and kills everything in 2, max 3 hits. Making it completely useless to bring any high lvl armor , weapons and tames. Forcing the PvP meta into just jumping around naked with fire arrows. why I bother is because I really like this game and feel the end game PvP could be very exciting but it is completely pointless in the current state with fire arrows.

Try sniping 10+ nakeds spasm rushing your group with fire arrows with the happy server performance we have. With the time it takes to reload they will have reached you. I suppose you have not done any sieges yet .

Why don’t you shoot 2 fire arrows on the ground in front of it?

And for you PvE players, you think killing hydras and other golden ruins mobs with 2 arrows is alright for gameplay?

You guys don’t seem to understand the issue. A direct fire arrow to the face is balanced dmg. but shoot the ground in front of your target so they take the stupid structure dmg debuff. with the ground shot fire arrow you can kill everything in 2 arrows. Alpha bears, bosses, plate enemies. Yea you get it , everything. Hitting the ground ain’t hard. guns and armor are all totally useless in PvP as of now.

Hey Devs! Thank you for nerfing the Flame Arrows but you are not quite done yet. The problem with them are that there seems to be 2 different dmg types. If you hit someone straight in the face with the Flame Arrow, they will take an alright amount of dmg. - This seems to be balanced enough. If you on the other hand shoot a Flame Arrow on the ground and someone/something run through it, they will take what seems to be Structure dmg and get completely annihilated. Could you please have a look at this? Thank you.
