Kerestrend

My friends and I are playing on a 2x2 private server, but currently we can only trade with each other in the same region (i.e I'm in A2 and can only trade with markets in A2, I don't see markets from A1, B1, or B2). Is there something that needs to be changed in the server config, or should this just work?
