My game worked fine before the update, but now it crashes every couple of minutes. I log on. Play for less than 5 minutes and then the game crashes. I’ve been trying to play now for the passed 45 minutes but it hasn’t gotten any better. I’m just wondering if any other Xbox players are experiencing this. It’s super frustrating!

That’s a ridiculous notion. Not everyone has dozens of people in their company. People who are just starting out don’t have the luxury of having escort ships let alone the people to captain those ships! Even if they did, how are they supposed to get the resources and blueprints needed to make high tier items that can actually stand a chance against larger companies when the boat they need to use to get those resources can’t even make it from point A to point B without getting sunk?! It’s a catch 22 for smaller companies and it’s the reason the official PvP servers are dominated by like 5 companies. There is a very large unfair advantage which, if leveled a bit, would actually make the game more enjoyable for a lot more people.

I’d like to propose the idea of cargo specific ships (or in other words a boat that can only be used to transport cargo/resources) On PvP servers it is nearly impossible for smaller companies to sail out to gather needed resources that aren’t on their island. Other much larger companies seem to make it a sport of decimating small ships like sloops and schooners even if they have no defenses and it’s clear they don’t pose a threat. It’s extremely frustrating for smaller companies to grind out resources to make boats that are needed to transport resources just to have a larger company sail up and blow that boat to smithereens. A cargo boat that either can’t be sunk (or at least be extremely difficult to sink) that can’t have defenses added to it (so essentially no one can sink you and you can’t sink them kind of thing) would be a leg up to those smaller companies just trying to survive. I understand it’s part of the PvP aspect of the game, but it’s extremely difficult for smaller companies to get resources due to the unfair playing field. You can’t really have a fair PvP experience when you can’t get the resources needed to make high quality items.

Are you playing on Xbox or Pc? I play on Xbox and it’s incredibly laggy, but my fiancé plays on PC and it very rarely ever lags and when it does it’s when sailing close to an island. I appreciate the maintenance, but wish the Xbox server lag could be fixed. I can’t even begin to count the amount of times I died to an animal or barrel rolled a ship due to the awful lag!

We managed to randomly get one to actually stay when placed down but the egg spawned in with 0% health. It never showed an indicator for whether it was too hot or too cold even though we had 15 grills on at the same time. It incubated to roughly 60% of the way (staying at 0% health) and then just disappeared (which we assume meant it died) We haven’t been able to get any other eggs to stay when placed down since. It’s extremely frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced an issue with eggs immediately disappearing when placed down to incubate? Trying to hatch Parrot eggs but each one placed down immediately disappears. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.
