I just got kicked while gridding and lost over 20 ship levels, crew, and blue prints.

I just sailed from one grid to another grid and immediately crashed, when I Got back on I lost about 2 hours worth of ship levels, blue prints, and crew from downed ships of the damned. I even had all the cannon balls I started the journey with. Anything I can do about that progress?
