    You can’t claim a lawless region, you need to sail to other islands to claim those.

    Official servers are always harder because the gathering/leveling etc stats are set to 1. If you play on unofficial/private/dedicated servers those are usually higher making it more SP friendly.

    You need to make a wooden dock. There you can craft a raft. OT: I see a lot of people complaining that they can’t leave lawless islands but; Freeports are ‘easy’ spawnpoints, with lawless islands you need to craft everything yourself, so it’s harder. Some people like a challenge.

    Before the process of buying this game and ‘wasting’ your money. Did you read anywhere that it is an early access game? It’s absolutely unbelievable how many people do not understand what the meaning of early access is!

    Yes but you’ve seen 4 islands pretty fast.

    You can get rid off the level cap. But buying an extended server is 10 euros per server more I believe? Which is ridiculous in my opinion.

    At this moment we’re building some small ships with speed to scout for hostile islands /crate farming. Then we’re gonna make a few man o wars filled with cannons to assault them. We will see how that will work and if it goes right, we just keep perfecting it.

    We have seen a pteranodon but I’m pretty sure that that would be a mod, so you won’t see them on officials. And I agree with the people above, having flyers will pretty much ruin the discovery feeling to a total.

    Are you close to the north and south of the map? It can get pretty cold down there.

    Did people actually read stuff about the game before it launched or did they just join up and knew nothing? Then you shouldn’t be here, right?

    Well do what pirates in real would’ve done! Build a port and make a boat (Even though I don’t think pirates built a port first).

    Like someone else stated, those areas are for the ‘skilled’ players that want some kind of ‘challenge’. For the spawn one. You can also place a bed on your raft.

    Like others said, place a bed down. Either on your claimed island or on your raft/ship.

    There is an excuse. It has nothing to do with ARK or them learning from something because this is the first time they’re doing this.

    You can simulate 50K people trying to log on at the same time? I think if there was any simulation for it they’d done it. Unfortunately, there isn’t. So the only way to test it and troubleshoot it is to open it up and start monitoring it. That’s just the way it goes with these kind of games.
