  1. Absolutely! I hope what little info I can give is helpful. Hmm, I know when before I stopped playing Ark on my PC, which died few years ago (All in one cooler leaked on my motherboard and titan x, RIP ), I had a very similar kernel32.dll error code and it ended up being a bad stick of RAM that I had to replace. Before you go removing RAM sticks to troubleshoot, I would suggest verifying the game cache in the steam properties for Atlas. I'm confident this is a RAM issue though, because you're able to get in the game, and play for a short period of time before all of the game world loads in. For some reason you're running into a memory issue. The only time your sticks are under a load of this magnitude is when playing a memory intensive game like this. Most games don't come near the amount of usage. As a result, RAM hardware issues don't often pop up because the system can usually work around it.
  2. Had this issue the other day after I built a cabin on the stern of the ship. The steering wheel is likely too close to an object, whether it be something behind or in front. It's 'blocking' the view. If the steering wheel is clear, then hold options, go to extended options and you should be able to toggle third person from there. Hope this helps.
  3. I honestly for the life of me can't find the source I used back in 2015/2016 to allow this. I just know 3.5gb for Atlas seems extremely to me. These games are RAM intensive because of the buildings and creatures. Make sure you're not running the game in low memory mode(typically forces the game to only use 4gb) and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. I'm sorry I'm not being more helpful.
  4. This was inadvertently resolved with a server restart for anyone else that encounters the issue. Good day.
  5. Only 3.5gb?? You should look into increasing that limit then. This could be another issue. If the game is limited to only 3.5gb, it could cause stability issues. I vaguely remember editing some RAM usage on Ark YEARS ago for something similar. Good luck!
  6. Has anyone managed to find Wheatgrass on the Blackwood Map? I've found pretty much everything else, to include Turnips. Coordinates would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!
  7. FYI, I found a Hyrda on the north eastern most island last night. It's in the 'arenas' that are surrounded by cliffs on the western side of the island chain. I have also found a drake there. I'm sure there's a percentage that it'll spawn.
  8. When playing Ark in the early days, I discovered the game would use a astronomically high amount of RAM. We're talking 13-16gb at any time. I had to upgrade to be able to play consistently. This might be what you're encountering. Coupled with Windows and any background programs, it might be forcing the application to quit. Can you run the game and open up task manager to see how much RAM it is using?
  9. My group and I recently started a dedicated server on the Blackwood map. We are faily new to the game and don't know a lot of the fine details which brings me to the issue at hand. I released a cargo rack to experiment and learn it's quirks, obviously a mistake. Of course I cannot withdraw from the inventory when it's in the water, but the big issue is I cannot scoop it back into the cargo rack. I have tried two different racks at many different angles. I cannot for the life of me get this cargo rack scooped up. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  10. You cannot do this unfortunately. I confirmed with Nitrado last week that at this time, there is no way to adjust per level stats for Player Characters or tames. You can on Cluster through Server Configuration, but not on Blackwood. Sorry Mate. If it means anything, around level 20 to our current 50, things have balanced out. We don't feel over powered but also we don't feel like we're getting our butts kicked. At this point, I'm glad I can't do per level stats adjustment. It has kept it entertaining, especially when going to the boss island.
  11. From my experience, the ship will not sink if weight is exceeded for short periods, but I'm not sure for long periods. I do know if crew is exceeded it will start to sink immediately. Are you using cargo racks? This significantly reduces the weight of all items and is easily accessible if anchored.
  12. I would advise changing the following setting and keep the dinorespawn at 1: "Auto Destroy Wild Dinos Interval" Reduce the interval to a day or two. This will help with maintaining that spawns at normal level instead of them becoming extremely unbalanced, which of course happens, evident by your mermaid population lol. Hope this helps.
  13. I did this the other day on the Cluster option and it works fine if the code is correct. You should get a confirmation when it uploads if everything is in order. Based on the error code you submitted. You are inputting this into the General Settings option. This needs to be saved under Server Configuration page under the Server Configuration stuff. This is not an option on the Blackwood Map. I have already confirmed that with Nitrado staff. There is no other way to adjust per level stats yet for whatever reason. We dealt with the no per level stats on the Blackwood Map, we're about 40 levels in and honestly, it's pretty well balanced. We don't mind it and it keeps it challenging. The game ends up giving a lot of passive buffs that make up for it. Hope this helps.
