OK guys, glad to hear that some of the server issues are being looked at. However due to starting to play ark it the last 2 weeks it has dawned on me that the dev teams are looking at this game as ark with boats. No, no, no don't be silly. Yes, some of the mechanics will work the same but we need different features. Yes the tranq taming on ark works beautifully (when you can get enough tranq into a creature for it to pass out) but with the exception of the lumber yard which of the new land based addons would really benefit a pirate? I'm certain you don't hear about the famous pirate Blackbeard and his terrifying crew of farmers! No, they were all scurvy dogs that wanted to loot, pillage and chase hidden treasure. Bottom line If it ain't broken don't fix it, however the bits that are broken put your best efforts into sorting them out and make a happy, bloodthirsty pirating community! Peace

That could be a plan, however do you know any game programmers that would be willing to work on this? I do know one but he's a little busy working for codemasters! Thats why I'm suggesting trying to pitch it to another studio. The fan base is there, the main structure of the game is there, its just really the bugs that need ironing out and the communities views taking seriously then it really is a winning game

Hi guys, I have seen a few posts on here about a community buy out for the game we love. Here's another suggestion, why don't we start bombarding another developer with experience of open world rpgs, say blizzard, to see if we can get them to buy the rights. Cos let's face it, how awesome would this game be with a properly motivated and enthusiastic development team? Granted no doubt we would see lots of real currency add ons brought in so they could make their money back but I would be willing to pay for certain skins etc. What do you guys all think? Peace ✌

Would love to be a fly on the wall in one of their development meetings. Lead dev 'right how can we screw new players and alienate small companies' Team 'we could always screw servers up, charge extortionate amounts for ships, ignore the community. Ohh and let's bring barrel bombs back Lead dev 'I like it, let's do it' I messaged nami and chismebeard in oh June or July saying that if they don't fix the existing issues then I reckon at most this game has maybe 12 months left in in. I would like to revise that to 6. Well done team, well done.

While that really would be nice, I have the horrible feeling that they will be working with the motto, let's fix it worse than it was before! I do enjoy this game and was so hopeful that the new devs would make it and not breake it but it looks like my hopes are misguided. Such a shame

Complete silence from the devs, still major lag everywhere and no minor bug fixes in nearly a month. Have grapeshot given up completely on this game now or are they working on something behind the scenes? I'm hoping the latter.

I think they have given up on us. Shame really I do enjoy this game. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted

You know, im an avid supporter of this game and the current devs. However, im starting to lose faith. Over a week has gone by since they dropped a major bollock and not once have they apologised or offered an explanation. Come on guys, pull your finger out.

Are we sure its just maintenance and not them sticking two fingers up to pve players?

As the title says, where the hell has the pve server gone? Just about to log on to start some breeding so the timers are at a reasonable interval and there is no server at all!

Errm will have to check when I get to my console for the version. 100% the xbox got the update. Do you play online or Purley solo?

OK, not the world's greatest breeder but I'm the only breeder in our company. I have never lost any bears due to temps. Yes its a pain in the a**e for the first 4.5 hours to get them to 10% but once you're there the temps do not make the slightest bit of difference. For the first 10% though you just need a well set up breeding pen with plenty of heat/cooling depending upon which biome you're in. The food on the other hand is a nightmare, I normally go through about 2000 chili's for the first 10% (I breed my bears in 3 pairs so 3 cubs as standard 4 if I get twins). After that I have four troughs i fill with chili's that will last the entire imprinting process. The hardest part i find is timing the initial breed so that you're not having to get up at silly o'clock for an imprint. So yeah, its doable solo but difficult. Is also much easier if the natural temps are too cold cos its much easier to warm a room up than cool it down. Peace guys and gals

Yeah, am on xbox too. If I'm lucky it sometimes jumps to 15mbps but a constant 5 is standard. One my mrs xbox however she only gets 2mbps as standard. Its a bit strange seeing as she's plugged directly into the router and I use a powerline adapter. I think its the host servers that may have the major issues though

Hi guys and gals. Anyone have any ideas why the updates for this wont download at anything over 5mbps? I wouldn't mind but I have 250mbps connection for a reason!

Question for the devs (not that I expect it to get answered!) You have started re-developing the game, all well and good cos hell it needs it, it has the potential to be a truly great game that could very well be played and developed for years should you get it right. However you are not addressing the concerns of the community e.g. lag, ping, and general toxicity of players/companies, yet you continue to develop new content and share ideas on what you want to do with the game such as adding even more new content. Now for the question Are you doing it this way so that once you have the content to where you want it to be you can then go on to sort out the issues so you only have to do the work once, or are you slowly working on fixes behind the scenes to release alongside the updates and keeping quiet about it so the community is pleasantly surprised when some of it issues ate magically fixed?

Well I did say I could be wrong. My bad. I also did say dont quote me! However it would appear most people are forgetting one important factor, its a game! The devs are just trying to give the game a unique mechanic that makes you pay attention to your character and to give the game a little more depth. And, it really isn't a major drag to deal with anyway.

You could just do what we do, overeat to boost your vit bars, then stam out once or twice to get rid of the overeating de-buff. The vitamin system really isn't that much of an issue, plus if you do keep them balanced you double your fortification. Effort/reward. Oh and ps. You have heard of dysentery haven't you? That's basically supercharged vitamin c poisoning I believe! (I could be wrong though so don't quote me)

Hi guys, just curious. Does anyone know a way to connect a new set of pipes, ours decayed through lack of use some how, even though they are connected to an irrigation system for our farm! (We do a LOT of farming). I have replaced the pipes from the water source and would now like to like them up to our existing irrigation set up but the connections are just showing up red. Any ideas people, or is this just another slightly unfinished piece of the game? I really do not want to have to try and rebuild our irrigation set up from scratch seeing as it took about 6 hours last time! Cheers guys and gals. Peace

Hi guys, can anyone help. Have started a solo game just for a laugh (and to escape lag, ping rate and griefers) and was wondering if anyone can provide an up to date spawn command list seeing as there is no actuall command anywhere to spawn in the small stone gateways and gates, the current command just spawns in mediums. Fix the servers guys. I think rather than by cutting costs and spreading the pve servers between the eu and the USA (that's the reason between the massive differences in ping rate. I have this on good authority from a network techie) they really need to re-open the na pve server. Also can we have the support section of the website fixed. Trying to put a ticket in and cannot. Cheers
