Pain pain

Our company ended a lengthy relationship with Atlas yesterday. This game could have been the game I could play until my xbox blew up. Instead, it's a game where Wildcard/Grapeshot didn't have the common courtesy to grace us with any status updates. As if Covid kept them from logging into their owned forums to let us know they are doing ANYTHING. It reeks of abandonment when all they had to really do was drop us a damn line letting us know they're alive and hope we hamg in there... that's all many of us simply wanted.

I want to thank the creators for giving me a great experience filled with many ups and downs. There's so much more that can be possible in this game of neverending oceans. Unfortunately, Ive done it all and completed all the achievements only to hit that ceiling of nothingness. So many others have left ahead of me while still encountering the griefers and minecraft builders around so many corners of the grid. The crickets sing their songs from the dev's corner and no rumors of activity spew forth for new content or QOL changes. The same old bugs and glitches run rampant and we continue to lose ships at the hands of sotd as they camp at each border crossing. This game has now become simply a chore to which I do daily, and that is what I will simply no longer tolerate. The thrill is gone amd so are the creators. Another "almost-masterpiece" that will go quietly into the night. Thank you Atlas, for allowing me to have some great experiences with good friends. So long atlas... So long.

I'm not sure how to respond to this from a role playing game fundamental via D&D. It just seems that the complaints that you have are misplaced. As a newspawn you should have newspawn furs. As an old age, nothing has changed other than looking old. There are so many other things in Atlas that are borderline gamebreaking that we all deal with daily, yet you choose the most trivial non-issue things to complain about. If these very small issues bother you, you'll be utterly destroyed when you come across the myriad of actual bugs, glitches, and unbalances. This is why, I believe, you are raking in the toxicity of strongly seasoned players. It's not the validity of your post content. It's the irrelevence of it.

Howdy Bit. Seems like an unfortunate set of circumstances you were in. The high age can be a benefit to you. There's no penalty for being old, but you can go to the fountain of youth to reset your age and get permanent bonuses. As for the furs, you should be able to wear common furs at level 1 unless I'm mistakened. Did your friend give you a higher quality like fine or higher? Those require a set of skills to wear them. All I can tell you is that starting out again is always a pain filled with so many irritations. Stick with it though, it'll only get better as you gain tames, items, ships, and gold.

I agree. If they took a break or bailed completely on this game, treat us with respect and gratitude and let us know.

Then you'll get PC players getting away with chat murder calling you a b****, n*****, p***** that ruins the game because you gave some noob a few stacks of wood and fiber. But God forbid I chat out a clean sentence that starts with the word "I". And yes, Ive sent in multiple tickets with screenshots of the offenders. I rarely ever chat in xbox anymore, and if I do, it's like trying to solve a puzzle to figure out what sentence won't be censored. No discord to chat with randoms. No fixes or workarounds.

I dont feel so bad playing Atlas. Ive outlasted my $30. Played a lot of ganes that I payed $60 for and stopped playing after about 2 days.

I noticed this too.

I've been fast traveling between 3 islands for awhile now. Today, I log in to fast travel to my player claimed island to no success. I start to fast travel as the screen goes to white. About 10 seconds later, the screen returns and I'm still on the island I'm trying to leave. I am able to jump to every other area except the player claimed island (my island). I've even hard reset my xbox. Any ideas?
