Can someone explain how the island claiming works? I've claimed an island with some of those massive pillars. I'd like to build on top of one but i can't place a claim flag there so i placed it on a hill inland. During peace time some dude drove up and destroyed a bunch of foundations arround my pillar with ship's cannons. Wasn't it supposed to take no damage on peace time? Or is it only the tiny circle arround the claim flag that's immune during peace time? What about my ships during peace time? Can they get sunk if they are out of the claim circle on the map?
