I'm glad other's have encountered this and it's not just me. As much as it sucks to encounter it. I appreciate the feedback on not seeing it much on the unofficial since it reboots more often. That definitely makes sense, I'll have to include that in a ticket later on.

I and at least 4 others in my company have encountered this issue with about 30 to 40% of the ship wrecks that we have dove. We find that the wrecked ship is half buried or nearly fully buried under the sea floor mesh. This has been something we've had happen for nearly a year now. Will this get fixed or is it being worked on?
