  1. With the farmhouse and soon to be warehouse ideas, I was thinking how interesting it would be to personally map out a trade route using a way points like system. You could then build/purchase and NPC ship at your port to work between the warehouses, effectively creating a trade route, picking up and dropping off specific resources. It would then be up to you as to whether you sail with your trade ship to protect it or leave it to chance.
  2. Out of curiosity, can you post the server settings? And the game version. It should show up when you log in on the main menu.
  3. I've made myself a Galleon, mastercraft quality this time around, and need some recommendations/help. Once you have enough crew, what do you level and how did it help you? I'm leaning towards resistance. At what weight does the steering for the galleon get worse? I assume it's about 50% and turning, handling gets poorer. I did try closing my gun ports for turning, but it did not seem to improve. Any other recommendations to improving Galleon handling. This vid is of my Galleon being built and my trial SOTD run. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x0OlDBRz6M
  4. My situation is that I'm playing single player, difficulty slider set to max. I've been finding that my treasure map rewards are too high in quality. Common treasure yields masterwork and legendary quality, while fine gives all mythic. I haven't tried my journeyman, masterwork or legendary maps yet, but what could possibly be better than mythic quality loot. What has been your experience? Should the game balance better loot at higher difficulties, or am I expected to fine tune it based on the available game options? Or should I set my difficulty back to official? I clipped the end of my video where I got the common loot and talk about quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NRps7NlNyk
  5. To recreate the issue I used the Captaineering tree. Hover over "Basics of Crew" and check the tooltip Hover over "Rationing" and move back to "Basics of Crew" The tool tip will now clip off the screen. Check this 2 minute video of me re-creating the issue.
  6. Single Player Patch 401.5 (Rev. Unknown) I have not been able to identify what causes my ship to not be where I expect it to be on the map, but it has happened a couple of time now This time, after I died and I tried to re-spawn on my bed on the ship it all went wrong. I was recording for a video so I have put a commentary of what happened on it. Basics are, when I tried to re-spawn it left me by my corpse unable to do anything but log out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvESzzwA66w
  7. I have two recordings of treasure maps going crazy. Single Player with difficulty slider set to max, but Max Difficulty checkbox NOT set. One in the start area of M7 where 4 common treasures were stacked on top each other, including their armies of the damned. The other in M6, where a fine treasure paid out in excess of 5000 coins. Both scenarios yielded and tonne blueprints, and coins. No other loot. 7:30 for the armies spawning, 12:20 for the multiple stacked treasures https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOJPNl7DGhg 10:30 for the armies spawning (seems the right amount for this one), 14:15 for the treasure with a stupid amount of coins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6bFcfrG8Ms
