I think it would be cool if the buildings in freeport allowed players to claim a space to rent for a duration of time sort of like how we can hire crew. This space could have 1 of each crafting structure and a bed that becomes yours as long as you pay the rent.

It would make working together much more effective to have this enabled at certain times for certain durations. Perhaps it could be in correlation with managing company governance. If you enable it in governance, it also enables in alliances, but then at least you have an off switch before you log off. Or completely separate in the alliance management menu, have the ability to create an event, like “start alliance adventure” and then invite the company of interest, and then have a place to click end for when its done.
