  1. We are witnessing this same issue in B12 and surrounding areas.
  2. Situation: Players playing on both Colony/Empire PvP servers have no way to store goods without risk of total loss. Complication: Without an avenue to protect goods, players will be more likely to leave the game if they face total annihilation. Question: How can we protect goods without causing it to be exploitable while also increasing players personal sense of security? Answer: Create a personal storage/bank in Freeports that allows storage of limited numbers of goods as well as gold up to a certain amount. This will increase the likelihood of player retention if they face total annihilation, and will also create a higher flow of traffic through Freeports.
  3. So I'm hoping that the Captain's Log tonight will answer some of these questions, but I think there needs to be clear cut objectives to winning a war rather than just "eliminate the enemy from the island". A good strong objective such as a destroyable lodestone or position to hold over x time will insure that island will not remain in the hands of whoever arrives first and builds the most beds on the island. If the only objective is to destroy all enemy encampments or to insure that no survivors remain, then war will be impossible to win and the islands will remain stagnant.
  4. The problem is there is no storage system for ships. If they would make it where you could pack ships up say it takes a few hours to pack up and then redeploy, then they could increase the number of ships total, just limit the number of active ships. Right now the problem is ships create lag because they take up processing resources.
  5. The stone structure changes are going to kill this game. Stone structures now only take 9 cannonball shots to destroy, whereas wood structures only take 7. There is no reason to craft stone with this change, you are better off honeycombing wood structures with puckle towers. The increased cost is a slap in the face along with this. Tiles that don't have Paste or Metal have just become quite useless and will no longer be inhabited. What the hell are you guys thinking?
  6. Ever since the latest patch, I have bene unable to login to the game. It is getting stuck at PrimalGameData_BP. I have tried validating files, removing the globalfont launch options, and rebooting my computer/steam.
  7. Two days ago someone placed buoys in the water near our base, and our resources stopped respawning near the buoys. We went out and killed all the buoys, but some of our resources (rocks primarily) are not respawning at all. The only thing close by is a lighthouse, but that is around 500 meters away at least. Has anybody else had this experience?
  8. Some of these are good ideas. Personally at this point I wouldn't mind if they were completely removed except in certain areas and then are still very rare. They should not be spawning 3-4 at a time and they should not aggro you once you're in a 5 KM radius. Some of them won't, but I have seen others that no matter what will aggro. Lost 5 ships in the past week to this so far. A few of my crew have already quit because of it. Please fix.
  9. I will bump any thread asking for this. We've lost 5 ships in the past week, probably more that I have not been part of. Here's three that I took screenshots of.
  10. I agree completely. We died to another one today after a 2 hour journey and almost making it back home with the loot. It really kills the game. If it were a player, then we know we could have done something better or at least someone else is getting the loot. Having an NPC fuck you over really makes me want to not play. It's sad. They should be something that you have to hunt for. Not something that actively is hunting you around every corner. There are 40,000 players that do that already. Fix this or you will have a dead game.
  11. We just finished a 2 hour journey and were within 15 minutes back to our base and yet another ship of the damned killed us. The wind was not strong so once we saw it, we were basically dead in the water. This will drive players away from your game. Spending 5 hours of time (building ship, gathering resources for journey, etc) to die because these ships are impossible circumnavigate unless you're a master naval officer is not cool. Please PLEASE PLEASE do something about these ships. This is our 5th one lost in the past week.
  12. We were harvesting sugarcane from these plants the other day, and now they are only giving out Jute. Is this an intended change, or a bug?
  13. We just tried to set sail again (this will be our 4th failed venture since yesterday running into Ghost Ships). Hoping that the patch had resolved the issues with Ships of the Damned, only to quickly find out this was not the case whatsoever. Not only will these fuckers horde on you, but they follow you through server lines. By the way we did have two sails, they annihilated the other one. Please fix this!!!!!
  14. We are having this issue with K10 on Kraken's Maw. Haven't been able to play for around 5 hours now I think.
