Probably need a high ranked tamed bear.

I haven't tried treasure maps yet. Youtube videos I seen, they could be work if you don't have a tamed bear to kill all the undead. I took out a outpost of the undead on a island I have a base. But the undead all respawned there yet I broke there beds. I didn't get to sink their last boat though. I taken out their other boat though. So I couldn't claim their flag. Still in a private server. Couldn't picture myself playing this game long on a open ranked pvp server. My stuff be raided when signed off. The grind is real even on private servers. After my Schooner got sunk with 14 cannons I was bummed out. hahahahh

Can I have a fleet? Can NPC's sail my ships and follow me on a separate ship? I never tried it yet. Would I have to sail near them and whistle or have them on close follow? I thought about building a couple spare schooners and load them with cannons and have them follow my Brigantine. Sink a bunch of ships and recruit the sunken undead. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah I noticed leveling up is very slow now. Even going to a new island building another base doesn't level me up quick enough crafting stuff.

Grapple is the best to rope in the undead survivors. Then pay them once on deck.

All the wood pieces are crafted at the smithy. Shipyard is to toss material in to decide which ship you buy when you unlock the path of the skill tree for each ship. Then after all that at smithy for the boat pieces. Then you need the Loom for sails and rope ladders.

Jumping in and get it is risky. So have nothing of value on you when doing so. Most likely a few sharks will get you before getting back up the ladder. So think twice before diving in for a loot chest that maybe has blueprints of stuff you already investing with skill points. Also best to just get a grapple and learn how to snag treasure chest while ship is still moving fast. Cause if the sharks don't get you. Undead will be there quick once you hear the music kick in if your sails are down gathering loot.

Only way for refund on XBOX is if you pre-ordered it and then canceled. If you played it you cant get a refund. Only other way is you bought it and never played it for digital. Then within like 24 hours of not opening the game you might get lucky for a refund. But even with tech support and you lie and say your kids bought it without permission you might be able to squeak by. But if you put in serious hours. No refund. Also ATLAS being game preview early access no such thing as pre-order for option. So your out on that as well.

I thought of building my boat higher up like another floor off walls and ceiling and park more cannons on it. Not sure cannons would fit through a wall window. But my 14 cannon schooner got sunk yesterday. Long story short I had my boat sailing away from last boat attacking me while taking on water. I was busy trying to repair the wall. Then my boat sailed right into another fleet of undead of 5 boats. They shot my wheel off and most the upper deck floors fell in. Cannons broke. We sunk then sharks ate all my crew. Also I tried to grapple onto a odd pirate ship circling it wouldn't hook me on. I wanted to raid it while the other fishbone undead ships left.

It might need repairing. Mine on XBOX broke when trying to rope a treasure chest out of the water.

Thanks. I'll have to check it out after I make another boat. My 14 cannon schooner got sunk yesterday. Kinda took the wind out of my sails for playing. Ended up just making another outpost on another island to level up large boats on tech tree. Got to island by raft for new outpost. Cause I accidentally reset my skill points in the freeport. So some how I wasn't allowed to make medium sized boat pieces even though intermediate pathway was bought. Only small pieces for planks. Also I bought officer outfits and the game wont let me wear them. Am I suppose to do a mission or I don't have some skills unlocked to wear it? Or it is bugged? I see there was a patch last night. Maybe that fixed some stuff.

I have 14 cannons total. 7 on each side. 5 on each side lower deck. 2 on each side upper deck. I might add 2 more today. I killed 4 wimpy ships fast. This video is the 4th ship. I have a enemy camp near on other side of my island. Besides they have a ship near their beach. Glad I got my ship pimped out with 14 cannons. I'm going over there today to have some fun. I like to add two more cannons yet to the top deck as well today.
